Do not use Orkin. When explaining the terms of the contract for pest removal, they failed to mention that at the end of the 1 year contract, they need 30 day notice to cancel the service or else it continues. When I asked the technician how many services I had left on the contract, he consistently said he didn’t know, but estimated I had a few left. I did not question him on that. Now it turns out that the 1 year contract is up but has been constantly renewing and bringing on additonal uneeded service and charges. Now that I have experienced this I did some research on the company and have found numerous complaints in the same vain. This company is using a tactic to try to capture extra payments from customers that no longer need the service. Instead of at the end of the year, asking how the service was and if it needed to be continued, they automatically renew and continue to charge the customer. There is no thought toward proper customer service. I’d recommend using a different company that does not try to prey on unsuspecting customers.
