Worst Service Ever!!! Where do I start? The day I went in to sign up — the wait was so long, I had to return. Since they need time to sell you every possible upgrade there is and every lotion ever made and why you can’t live without them, they need more time — «so, just let me check this one in – and hold on — let me just take care of this person» — by the time I got signed up, I was there well over an hour — and I hadn’t even tanned yet! I signed up for one of the premium memberships, bought the obligatory lotion, and signed up to have the payment charged each month to my debit card(this was in mid-March, 2015). All was good, except that every time I went in, the level bed that I had purchased was never available. I could upgrade or downgrade — or wait. I care for my 90 year old father, and I am not able to get away for long periods of time. One of the reasons I signed with Palm Beach Tan was that it was close to my home and they(seemed) to have a lot of beds. In the beginning of April I went in and wanted to tan. At that point, they asked me if I had a new credit card… I answered no. They told me that my card was declined. I could not understand why, as it is a debit card and I know the balance in my account — so I guess a lot of people say that when they have $ 1.37 in the account, but I knew my account balance — which is also tied to my savings, so if it was declined, it was not due to insufficient funds. In any event, I paid the amount due and chalked it up to a one-off error. In May, I tanned at least once per week. So at least 4 times I was in the store — usually helped by the SAME person. No issues(except for the lack of the level of bed I purchased). At the END of May(May 30), I went in to tan. They asked me if I had a new credit card… I knew where this was going and I said No. For a moment I thought we were talking about the June payment, but then I realized it was still May. I was incredulous… I was in the store at least 4 times prior to this and NOONE asked me about the payment. The girl who normally takes care of me was standing right there and I looked right at her. NOONESAIDANYTHINGTOMEDURINGTHEWHOLEMONTH! They«did me a favor» and did not charge me the $ 10 fee that goes along with a card decline. thanks so much! I called my bank at 9:00am on Monday morning to find out why they have declined the charge. It turns out that PBT had input a number that was NOT a zip code into the zip code field of my address in their system. I immediately called PBT, because it was June 1 and I knew they would draft the payment. I gave the info and the person on the phone went into my account, verified that the number in the zip code field was NOT a zip code and put my correct zip code in the field. I went in on Saturday to tan. The first thing I did was ask if the payment had drafted correctly. They said — unfortunately«No, it had not, and my membership had been terminated»…Really? Are you freaking kidding me? Needless to say I was not happy. I left there and immediately attempted to call their«customer service number for North Carolina» — big surprise… NOANSWER. I sent an email — still no response. I don’t think I have to tell you that I will never go back there again. Thanks for NOTHINGPBT!

The staff is amazing, always with a smile on their face. The beds are great. Always clean. Love the color I’m getting. The staff always helps me switch it up to help keep my color going. They are all very knowledgeable about the lotions and how to get the best color. Love this place
