My review is mixed because while there are some nice folks in here, there are several less than satisfactory conditions here. The salon is in disparate need of new tools, from hair dryers to flat irons. Offers for wine and water are inconsistent. Next, checking out is always sketchy and stressful due to the most disturbing of all problems at this salon — each visit I find that I am charged a different price which is frustrating and quite frankly, a bit discriminatory. It remains unclear why each visit is charged differently though the salon manager and co– manager will try to explain their method of pricing services in 15 minute increments. So, that would mean that I am required to pay more if my stylists is moving slower on any given day? Strange. Love the kerastase concept but the pricing inconsistency and lack of reinvestment into the salon does not merit the slightly higher prices compared to the market.

Not great. I agree with one of the previous reviews. They have great customer service. The receptionist was very nice. They have great products. The salon looks very professional. However, when it came down to the skill level of the stylist(at least the one I had), I would give them very poor marks. I feel bad — because this salon could be really good. They just need to hire better stylists. Will not be returning.

Two years ago, my dad and I were looking to get haircuts before his big 50th birthday party. We saw an ad for Paul Beaune NY Salon in a local magazine and decided to stop by and check it out. They took us as walk ins when we got there — I’ve never had trouble getting an appointment since. The place isn’t empty, they do a good business, but it’s never overly crowded or busy, so they can conentrate on the clients they have at the time. As soon as you check in, they offer you a drink, and all of the staff is very friendly. I’ve had my hair cut by three different stylists, all of whom have done a wonderful job, and for a very reasonable price. I got a lovely haircut yesterday for $ 20 less than my salon at home in NY. The use Bumble & Bumble and Kerastase products. They also don’t go overboard on product, like some salons, and always ask if you want hairspray, which I love, as I don’t want too much stuff in my hair. If you’re really up for a day of pampering, had next door for a mani pedi, and to the Caribou Coffee in the same plaza for a delicious coffee!
