Pizza Hut

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Worst Pizza Hut delivery experience ever. I understand I’m not spending $ 50 for pizza, however I live less than 2 miles away and it took them 1.5 hours to get here. How is that even possible? I checked in with the store after 45 min and they assured me it would be here within 10 min… twice…then I gave up. If it was just me, it wouldn’t be such a big deal, but when you have guests its matters.

I’m not really sure what to say in a review for Pizza Hut. But I came in here late night and they were short of staff. But even though the lack of staff, they were very helpful and eager to help. I will return in the future.

Ok… so this is Pizza Hut. You kind of know what to expect. But my boyfriend and I came in to get a quick slice/​we had to get a pie and it was very pleasant. I had to go to the bathroom sooo bad and the really nice woman behind the counter let me go in their employee bathroom way behind the kitchen. This was far beyond what they are expected to do and she told me that which I understood, so I respected that. They were very kind to let me in an area that was not open to customers without any issue. Not only that, but they gave us a super deal on 2 pizzas, breadsticks, and wings!!! I can’t wait to come back on a super fat/​drunk night again!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. We waited for over two hours for our pizza to be delivered and called twice only to receive inaccurate updates. I do not know how they are staying in business. That was our first and last order at Pizza Hut.

I was in the area for work in a local hotel. I am a vegetarian. I ordered a skinny slice pizza with veggies on it. Went to open the box and eat it and inside the box was a pan pizza loaded with pepperoni and bacon. I’m literally so annoyed bc it took over an hour for delivery and was starving at this point. Make sure to check your pizza before the pizza man leaves.

This was probably the worst pizza experience I’ve ever had. I arrived at time my order was estimated to be ready. The first thing I notice upon entering the store was the awful stench of burnt oil. This should have been my queue to turn around get in my car and stop by the nearest dominoes. But I’d feel bad for abandoning an order, so I get in the pick up line.
The girl at the counter lets me know they’re still waiting on my wings so it’ll be a few minutes. I step to the side and wait for my order. Many other people come and go, so I watch as they get other customers food from the warming box and send them on their way. I notice a pizza box with an order of wings sitting on the top shelf from the first time they open the box that looks like it could be my order since I ordered a pizza and wings.
I continue to wait, and wait, and wait. They kept complaining about how far behind they were on wings so I figured my order must be way at the back of the line.
Also, there’s this dude outside that looked as high as a kite that kept coming in the store to ask people if he could «talk to them outside». I told him very directly «NO!». Luckily he went back outside. Still made me very uneasy. It was very strange and I was surprised no one asked him to leave.
Finally after 45 minutes of standing there a guy tells me my order is almost ready, just a couple more pizzas to make. I give him an odd look and let him know I had only ordered one pizza and wings. He looks confused and asks for my ticket. He checks the tickets in the warning box and of course hands me the pizza box with wings on top from the top shelf that I had had my eyes on for the past 45 minutes. He apologized and said again they were waiting on my wings. I let him know that I had seen that order there for the past 45 minutes WITH the wings. He just shrugs and hands over my order. No apology what so ever.
At this point I think to myself that my 20 dollars is more than likely a sunk cost anyways so I leave with my food. On the way to my car, high as a kite guy again approaches me «HEY SWEETHEART» I tell him to leave me alone and hop into car faster that I thought was humanly possible.
Finally I get home and wearily open my pizza box. Of course, its missing toppings and no pretzel crust as ordered. I open the wings, they look okay other than they looked like they had been sitting around for over an hour. I decide to try the wings first since they look at least like what I ordered, big mistake! The breading was burnt and all I could taste was burnt oil. I don’t think I’ve ever had a more disgusting wing in my life. I drink some soda to get the taste out of my mouth and decide to try the pizza. The pizza was okay but cold and all I could smell or taste was burnt oil. I ended up throwing all of it away as it was not good was nauseous from the burnt oil.
I used to love Pizza Hut growing up and am saddened that this is what it’s like now. I can’t imagine this chain hanging on much longer with so many reviews and experiences like mine on Unilocal at multiple locations.
Don’t waste your time or money here!

Picked up our pizzas, sat down to eat dinner to find the crust on our pizzas was almost completely raw. Doesn’t make sense since we had to wait several minutes for them to finish after arriving a couple min late. Now we have to wait even longer to eat because we need to bake our pizzas so they are edible. I think I’ll drive to to Kings Dr. Location. Went there for years and had great quality every time.

How does a Pizza Hut run out of garlic breadsticks & medium crust? Love Pizza Hut crust. I’d like to know who the ordering manager is. I was on hold for over 20 mins supposedly my pizza was going to be done in 5 mins next thing you know after 20 mins on hold — they had run out of both garlic breadsticks & medium crusts. I then requested large pizza only to be told that my order would now take 1.5 hours to be delivered. Isn’t the point of Pizza Hut that it is quicker then going to the local Harris Teeter & grabbing a take & bake pizza? This location has now failed me 3x in delivering in excess of 60 mins each time it has been delivered online. How is this allowed to happen? This has soured me on Pizza Hut. I will attempt to receive delivery from another location but will not go to the South Blvd location again.
