I was in need of a color and trim and two friends recommended this salon. They had never been there but had heard good things so I decided to give it a shot. I had a consultation on February 24th and it went pretty well, therefore, I decided to make an appointment for service. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment. There was no greeter but there were four stylists and they all looked in my direction when I entered, yet no one said hello, this should have been my first clue that it wasn’t going to be a fun experience. within five minutes of me sitting there they were all finished with the clients they were working on, still no acknowledgement. They all started to move about the salon, going to the back,(even walking by me because the space is not that big) talking to each other and you guessed it… still NOONE said a word to me. I am now 8 minutes past my appointment time. One person started to sweep and it was only then that she offered a very insincere«how’s your day» I got up and went outside to talk on the phone because I really couldn’t believe that I had just experienced. After a few minutes Jessica slightly opened the door asked my name and told me that she would be ready when I was ready… really!!! I contemplated going back inside as I really needed the services as I was going out of the country for a while but then my voice of reason won and I got in my car and left. Note to Revolution Ego… location and décor doesn’t make you a high end salon. Customer service should be at the core of your business. Obviously you didn’t need my money and I definitely didn’t need your service.

Thanx to the ladies at Revolution Ego, the service is the best in Charlotte. I have been seeing Kelly for 7+ years, and will continue seeing Kellz and the ladies at Revolution Ego. I’m not sure what this lady with the bad comment is talking about, but JESSICA is great, times when Kellz is not available any one of the stylist at Revolution Ego will twist my hair. Plus she has #coolhaircolor. #positivevibesonly

Make sure that you read the other reviews — several — first before you make your appointment here. They are not shown on the main page but you have to click on «other reviews not recommended». Many negative reviews most having to do with the negative, rude and unprofessional attitude from one of the stylists, Jessica. I wrote a review about how I was treated by her and the owner of the business had the nerve to get on Unilocal and say that my review was fake. Interesting, then I guess the other women who also wrote about Jessica’s poor customer service were also fake? You would think that the owner of a business would be more concerned with why several customers are complaining about 1 stylist rather than trying to criticize people for expressing their opinions about how they were treated. You may have been able to recover some of these customers had you tried. Instead, it appears you were totally comfortable with losing potential business. Ridiculous.
