I would not recommend this Dr. to anyone. My 13 year old daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Ross for years and we have been loyal and always showed up for appointments in a timely fashion and always paid for our visit the day of, never missing a payment. In the mist of a hectic time while moving I misplaced my daughter’s hand=written perception and was told by her receptionist that I would have to pay some insane amount to replace it, I believe it was $ 100.00. This was an isolated incident and under stressful circumstances with the move. I expressed my concern and then she said she would lower the amount to $ 50.00. We are talking about a 12 year old little girl here taking anti-​depressants. I don’t believe a Dr. should be acting like this, it seems unethical to me, besides this she speaks in a very condescending manner to her patients. She did this to me all the time so it was not a shock to read other reviews saying the same thing! She is a child psychiatrist and does not have hours to accommodate a child (no after school hours) not even until 5:00. I guess she bolts right out of there, She also makes a huge deal if you ask to see her at lunch time so your child doesn’t miss school. She makes it a point to tell you that it is HER lunch time! Wow, she is her own boss, I wasn’t even aware she had a set lunch time, hmmmm… anyway, her one hour appointments are priced high compared to others and if you don’t have insurance beware. She schedules one hour appointments and only sees you for 10 minutes out of the hour in the meantime you are playing close to $ 200.00. She could not accommodate my daughter’s schedule once when it was the beginning of a new school year and a new school for her. She charged me for the canceled appointment and I told her she could apply the money that I gave her for my numerous hour visits that she only saw me for 10 minutes and pay for it that way. She is only out for money and herself. I am not embarrassed to sign my name to this, the word needs to get out there! Please save yourself the headache, especially when dealing with mental health. She would rather have my daughter run out of medication and suffer from withdraws than working something out re: the missed appointment. She is all about money. I hope I saved at least one person from going through the torture I have endured with this woman!
