Kevin is the best. He completely rebuilt my old Fender Leo Deluxe banjo and it is now a work of art. Probably the best and easiest to play action I have ever seen. He has also set up two of my Martin guitars. He listens to what you want and he knows what he’s doing. A rare combination these days.

I met Kevin when he was just starting up Smiling Moon Guitars. I trusted my 1976 Guild D-​50 to him and he did a great job. I recently purchased another guitar and have had him set it up and do some other work on it. I trust him with all of my stringed instruments. Kevin is precise and very knowledgeable about a wide range of stringed instruments. You should see his shop. It’s so organized that it reminds me of Julia Child’s kitchen! Do not hesitate to speak with Kevin about any work you need to have done.
