Have a friend who currently lives there. She can’t wait until her lease is up. I stayed with her a couple weeks and can understand why. Her faucets leaked, security was«iffy» at best and it was noisy as hell. And she pays a ridiculous rent for all this so called«luxury living». Great neighborhood, but poorly built & managed building. There is an excellent restaurant there(Dogwood’s if I recall correctly).. .I’d never live there. As a matter of fact, I’d live in Dilworth and stay out of South Park altogether. «Hoity» my butt. Gotta love the chicks walking around, obviously bulimic who all go to the same hair dresser, same hair cuts & blonde color. Didn’t see many of them at Solis Sharon Square apartments, but there sure were an «H» of a lot smokers tossing their cigarette butts from their balconies, especially around the pool(and they claim to be a smoke free community). I feel so sorry for my friend. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

We have lived in Sharon Square Apartments for over two months. We have thus far enjoyed living here and do think that these are some of the best apartments in the South Park area. In general, this is a great location with above average apartment spaces and friendly tenants, many from various parts of the country. Below are some of the pluses and a few minuses that we have found so far. Pluses: — The area is the best! We are within a 5 to 10 minute walk of just about any convenience a person would want. Shopping includes large and small retailers, restaurants, groceries(Whole Foods which includes coffee, food bar), movies, etc. — Parking is great and mostly covered. While the apartments are not at full occupancy, it appears that there will be ample parking space for tenants and their guest. — The apartments are pet friendly with a gated dog park. There is a playground and occasionally another dog to play with. So far most tenants are respectful and clean up after their dog. — If you are a non-smoker, this is one of the best apartments in the city. In our search, there were some that did not allow smoking in the apartment but few offer no smoking inside or outside of the apartment. — The leasing and maintenance staff is very responsive and have been great to work with. While we mostly dealt with Sarah when moving in, all of the staff have been great in accommodating our requests. — The fitness room is about average in equipment. Usually there is no one in the room when I workout and at most two others. I have not had any issues with getting access to any of the equipment due to other tenants. Minuses: — The building floors are constructed such that noise can be heard from other apartments. In ours when someone walks with a heavy foot, it can be heard. Only if someone is running(ie children) would I think it to be a major issue. Also note that the floors are a vinyl plank. — Appliances while stainless, are on the low end, but work for us. — Construction noise has been mentioned by others in the area over the last few years. As a tenant that has moved into some of the last apartments completed, a lot of the major construction is done which should reduce this as an issue. There is only retail space to be completed that may generate noise going forward. Close to five stars but I am a hard grader and there is still some construction with Suntrust moving in and the common Pool table room and kitchen not completed.
