Pretty nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch for a Marriott. Clean rooms with a very modern feel. The staff were exceptional as well. There’s an Earth Fare(similar to Whole Foods) within walking distance from the parking lot!

Stayed in this hotel 3 nights on business. Pretty great spot, overall very positive experience. It’s located in a very convenient spot. There are many restaurants and shops all around it which you can very easily walk to. My personal favorite thing about the location is that there is an LA Fitness right across the street! I walked over there every morning that I stayed! With regards to the actual hotel, it’s great. Probably the best place I’ve stayed for business. I was given a very nice room with two beds(unnecessary but still nice), a small kitchen area, and small office/business area. The bathroom was nice and clean all the time. The staff was very accommodating as well. Everyone was always very nice and helpful whenever possible. I called them one night and asked for NyQuil bc I was feeling a little sick and they brought it right to me along with a bottle of water– so nice! This hotel also has a pretty nice little fitness area. Lots of good stuff in there(even though I went to LA). Also a pretty cool lobby area. Large amount of open seating– lots of tables for the complementary brunch and also a nice bar area to the opposite side. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Love it. Very clean and accommodating, convenient location. A great stay!

This was the first Marriott that we’ve stayed at where we’ve seen this style of room. We thoroughly enjoyed the modern nature of the room and atmosphere. Although we spent most of the time were were visiting Charlotte out in the city, which we absolutely loved, this Marriott is in our top 5 favorite that we’ve been to worldwide. We’ve been gold members for years if that helps give you a number to reference. This hotel was that good! During our visit there was construction going on, limiting the parking space available which was a small nuisance, but the staff was informative and accommodating!

We stayed at this hotel while traveling for spring break. The hotel was nice and clean. The television was ok, if you like that sort of thing. The hubby got his ESPN, I’m not a huge fan of television. The showers were really nice…5 stars on that one. It came with a small refrigerator and very nice throw pillows. However, the late night staff was horrible. I called to get extra pillows for the room(my 3 kids were with us) the front desk person told me she only had one pillow and I would have to come get it myself due to the fact she was the only one on staff. While would you have a hotel that big with only one person working… yes, nice clean hotel. Check-out time was 12pm however we had a hotel staff member to knock and walk in on us while getting dressed around 10am. He said he wanted to know if there was someone in the room! You dont have a hotel list of guest in the rooms?! That’s why I gave them 3 stars. Service was sketchy! Rooms were nice.

We are staying here for a week visiting our daughter who is undergoing cancer treatment. The rooms are clean and the hotel is also well kept. The morning breakfast is well presented and has a good selection. The tv in the rooms are terrible. Most standard stations are unavailable. Ie. Abc, cbs, fox. You can see these stations at the bar down stairs. The bar is only available when the hotel has near full rooms. Thus far only two days out of four the bar was open. They also stated they have free popcorn in the bar however no one seems to know when that is the case. The desk told us it was during the week days however none was available on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Then we were told it was for the weekend. Tonight is Saturday and nothing. Can’t wait until Monday. The hotel uses explorer 8 which is unsupported by websites including Marriotts.

I stayed at Springhill on Thursday evening after I was unexpectedly displaced due frozen water pipes in my apt complex. I was super stressed out when I arrived but Ramona at the front desk was so so helpful in assisting me with getting a room and I immediately relaxed. The room was super clean, decorated nicely and the pillows on the bed were amazing. Staff at breakfast were so friendly. All in all a potentially awful evening turned into a really enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Springhill. No issues and the staff was great during my three days. Plenty of room and nice happy hour at their first floor bar. Limited restaurants in the general area.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The only difficult part is learning the roads to get in and out — they are a little confusing.

A very decent place for a generic business hotel on this side of town. Cheery, modern lobby, good prices, nice exercise room. For a generic stay in the middle of cookie cutter corporate, a cut above.

I played music at the First Annual Arts Night at SpringHill Suites. I was set up in the lobby and was able to watch as people entered the hotel. What really struck me was the staff called many of the hotel guests by name as they walked in. I was impressed by the facility — the lobby is spacious, attractive and very clean. They have a bar that was open(on a Tuesday.) A pool and fitness room are available. This hotel is perfect for the business traveler as well as the leisure traveler as it is easily accessible from all of South Charlotte. In addition, there is ample space for meetings. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Charlotte to stay at SpringHill Suites. SpringHill(a Marriott brand) has made a corporate commitment to support local art which to me, says a lot about who they are as a company.

I’ve found a new default place to stay when in town. This hotel was built in 2009 and the rooms are large and clean(and new). Frosted glass separates the bed area from the work area which includes a desk and couch. It has a real shower(not a bath tub … who uses those in a hotel?). Even the toilet has its own room with sink.
