Starks Pediatrics At Mallard Creek

Décor is really cute but the male receptionist was not friendly at all. I think I barely received eye contact when my insurance card was handed back to me. The nurse who called us back didn’t seem very friendly either, she didn’t even introduce herself but did smile as she interacted with my daughter. 10:15am appt, Exam Room at 10:45am, seen by doctor at 11am. Doctor didn’t introduce herself either as this was our first time to her office, I felt that was a little odd. Seemed rushed and didn’t ask us if we had any other questions or concerns. Overall, my first impression is not great but I will be going back in July and hope to see a different side of the staff or I will be taking my daughter elsewhere.

My children have been patients of Dr. Starks since she opened her practice in 2007. What I like about her practice is the fact that I can access her quickly if I need to. Since she is the owner, she can make decisions without the red tape. Her clientele has been growing since we first started seeing her and she has recently hired an additional pediatrician.
The office is very nicely decorated and all the patient rooms have a theme (space, farm, aquarium, etc.). They are also located near the Trader Joe’s, BBT Bank, Starbucks, and many other businesses.
