I just paid $ 25 for a haircut that a blind-​folded degenerate sea-​monkey could have done better!!! Walked in asked for Deborah because a cousin of mine with natural hair had gotten all her split ends cut off and I wanted mine cut also. (It really makes a difference when you’re rockin’ natural hair)…OK .so she said «I’ll blow dry after the wash so I can get a true cut»…sounds about right to me and I agreed to that. Well she must have decided that would be too much trouble because after sitting me down and filling my hands with the products they’re hawking… She starts cutting using a tiny comb on my terribly thick, full head of hair. she didn’t even bother to comb my hair out after the shampoo… the end result was a chopped up mess that was obviously uneven. I paid the $ 25 to avoid a scene (and because she had washed and conditioned my hair)., ran my fingers through my hair. asked her if she couldn’t see how uneven the cut is… she tried to fix it and it kept getting worse and worse until I finally told her to… Please… Just Stop… She had the nerve to give me her card .I gave it back and told her I wouldn’t be needing it… Worst Hair Experience I’ve had in a long time… Thank God my hair grows fast… but NEVER EVER AGAIN will I step foot into this establishment!!!
No wonder they were half empty on a Saturday!!!

alicia is super rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment at 9 and was running late which is awful; but she didn’t call to ask where i was. Once i did call and explained what happened (9:25) and told i would be there in ten minutes and that i didn’t mind waiting. She told me she couldn’t take me because she has someone at 11. I only needed my hair straightened! (and its only 3 inches long!) I have been to PLENTY of salons where I’ve been a little late and they were able to squeeze me in and in and work with me and the other customers esp.(most places work on two at a time anyways) since what i wanted was so simple. I tried to cancel all my future appointments with her, (after she told me she wouldn’t take me) then she says «I already canceled all your appointments when you didn’t show up at 9» and APPARENTLY her boss, Shawn, is perfectly ok with that. SAD. I will GLADLY take my money elsewhere.

I will NEVER go back to this place again. Today I had an 9 AM appointment with one of the «stylist» there named Alicia. I arrived at 8:55 AM (I’m always punctual) long story short I was still in my car waiting on the salon to open at 9:35 AM. Being pissed off doesn’t even describe the way I felt. My appointment was very important since I needed to get some photographs done for much needed marketing material. I left this establishment and had to go to a different salon as a walk-​in due to their unprofessional behavior. In all fairness after calling the Shawn’s direct cell number she stated that she would not be at the salon on that day, but my appointment wasn’t with Shawn… it was with ALICIA! So all-​in-​all I would never advise anyone to go there and if they did I would certainly tell them to steer clear of ALICIA, the world’s most unprofessional stylist!

Shawn is a master stylist&, colorist. She maintains the highest level of professionalism all the while keeping your hair at it’s healthy, most beautiful state. She is a full service salon. Come in and let Shawn or one of her team members bring out your hidden diva… lol
