My first visit was today, I was looking for a new salon due to unbearable wait times and chaotic atmosphere at previous salon that I patroned for the past 7 years. My daughter volunteered to be the guinea pig and went to Tip Top first, once I saw her nails I was thoroughly impressed. I went the following day and Ginny gave me a picture perfect manicure. This salon is clean with a nice calming environment. Think I’ve found my new nail salon.

New to the Charlotte area and am still looking for a go to nail salon. The people were nice but my gel manicure only lasted about 5 days. Pedicure was just OK

I REALLY wanted to like this place. I just moved to Plaza Midwood two months ago and decided to find a nail salon in the area. I looked at the reviews on here and decided to go to Tip Top. Listen, the atmosphere is great. All of the nail techs are really friendly and they had the TV on «American Idol Greatest Clips» or something like it, so everyone had something to look at/​talk about.
I got a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails. The pedicure was pretty good and I thought my nails looked alright when I left, however, about 6 of my nails lifted off within just a few days.

I think I got someone new because my manicure was just awful. The nails were ridged like they weren’t filed properly and were not even painted fully. The woman only massaged my hand for 30 seconds! That’s the best part of the manicure! Thank god it was cheap… I should have just painted my nails myself!

I can’t say enough nice things about this salon! The staff was super attentive, the music was jammin’ (literally– Bob Marley!) and was one of the best pedicures I have had. My friend and I made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon and had such a good time, we ended up staying and chatting with the staff well after our nails had dried. We will 100% be back!
