Poor results and questionable billing. There were steps in the process that were poorly done and there was indication of when service would take place. Requested a meeting and no one showed up.

I cannot tell you how mad this company makes me. I signed up with them for my lawn service, and honestly I can’t say I’m happy or upset about the job they have done on my lawn. However, their service/billing operation has done enough damage to make me cancell my account. I had bill pay set up from the beginning, and it turns out that they did not charge my card one month. Instead of charging my card the regular amount that they did the month before and the month after, they left a charge on my account for $ 49. The next thing I know, I am in collection for $ 49. I work in the finance industry, and know what a collection can do to your credit. I’ve never been late or in collection in my life, but this company put me in collection and risked ruining my credit. I’d rather have a messed up lawn instead of my credit that I have worked hard all my adult life to protect. I mean, this could cost me for a long time. And they had my payment and authorization to charge my card the entire time. So here is the kicker that makes me even more mad. They attempted to contact me. I will give them that. However, here is how they contacted me. They called my cell phone, always during the day while I’m at work. I answered the phone a few times, and it was always the same thing…“Please hold for your next Trugreen representative…” How annoying is that? I’m at work, and instead of getting a call from a live person, I’m told to hold on for the person who is calling me. Then I wait for someone to come on the line. I don’t have time for that. I barely have time to answer my phone, and then i’m told to wait on hold. They could have left a message, but every VM was the same recordign telling me that I need to hold. At no point did a live person call me to tell me i need to pay something. My lawn is not worth it to be treated this way and to risk my future financial well being on this company. Absolutely terrible service to have a phone system like this. I work for a company that uses a dialer, but it does not call the customer until the agent is ready. Just poor service. Luckily, Debbie in billing was nice on the phone and it is supposed to be taken care of. However, I’ve seen many credit reports where the collection agency(who are known for the worst follow through and service ever) never takes care of the invoice, and people end up with lower credit scores. I’m cancelling my service and going with someone else. It’s not worth it.
