U-Haul Moving & Storage at Ashley Rd

This U-​Haul was visited by us frequently upon our arrival to Charlotte. It is the destination we chose to arrive at and utilize for storage.
I of course had made reservations for storage but when we arrived, they couldn’t find me in the computer and after moving across country, of course I couldn’t find my confirmation number. However, they were still able to accommodate me and because I had rented a U-​Haul Truck, my first months rent for storage was free. I actually rented two of the biggest units they had & both of them were free the first month.
We had a tow bed that we checked in easily with no problem and because we had some days left on our truck rental and we had to unload the truck ourselves into storage, we didn’t check it back in.
When I tell you moving across country, isn’t a joke, especially when you have to load all your stuff into storage, after you just packed up your house and loaded a truck and drove 2,000 miles, it isn’t. So we were so lucky to be able to keep our truck parked their at the storage unit for a couple of days as we unloaded our truck and stored away our belongings.
The storage units were very clean upon our check in and I was amazed to say that the bathroom at this location was always clean. I mean always. I couldn’t say that about their «recycle» area, where people could leave their items for someone else to take. It had an ungodly smell for quite a few days but they did get around to cleaning it.
The employees and staff were always helpful and friendly and did their job.
