Tasty juices, friendly staff at the 7^th Street Public Market and very informative. I recently relocated here from DC where I had a favorite juicery with awesome people, creative juices and resources to support clean living — very happy I found that here.

Currently I’m in Day 2 of 3 juice cleanse; going well. The almond bliss at the end of day is so important.

Awesome «juice bar». Just the right alternative in a lovely market with so many other choices. Wish we had something like this at home. We’d be juicing it at least once a week. Some great higher protein juice choices along with wonderful not too sweet house made granola. Thanks for keeping us healthy!

Love, love, love this place!!! I never liked fresh juice nor half the ingredients in these type of drinks. With Cancer on the rise due to all the processed foods, I knew it was time to make a change. When I first tried the juices, I had to hold my nose to drink. Remember I barely ever ate fruits or veggies but after a few juices, I fell in love. My body feels so amazing after drinking these juices. I have so much energy now and my skin looks radiant. My favs are Green Clean, Good Karma and Beet Boost. I can’t believe I love the Beet boost so much bc I hate beets but the energy you get from drinking just one is amazing.
I’ve never done an actual cleanse. I usually just replace one meal a day with one of the juices.
The owner is so awesome and very helpful too! I just love this place!!!

I really had high hopes for this place. However, there is nothing to it. They are not doing pressed juice right in front of you it is pre bottled, so disappointed. Their hemp milk was good but their super green has no flavor no kick of ginger or cayenne.

I was able to try three different juices at Viva Raw over the weekend, and as a whole they were hit and miss.
The first bottle I tried was the Green Clean cucumber juice, and it was not very good. Both my girlfriend and I took 1 – 2 sips and declared it largely undrinkable. It has a really strong cucumber and greens taste without much sweetness or other flavors to balance this out.
I also got the beet juice, which wasn’t quite as bad but was also not something I enjoyed drinking. The beet taste was just a little too strong, and it again lacked any sweetness or flavor that I really enjoy.
Lastly, I received the «Pro Fuel» cinnamon almond milk, and it was very tasty. It tasted like regular almond milk with a strong cinnamon flavor and just enough almond butter to add some extra almond flavor as well. This was by far the best of the 3!
Overall, the owner and worker at the time were super nice, and I like what he’s trying to do, but the juices weren’t very tasty at least to me, and at $ 7 – 10 per bottle they ought to taste like liquid gold AND be the healthiest thing possible.

Great fresh juice selection. Lovely tastes. In a cute public market area with many other interesting shops for food and wares. Lovely atmosphere. Loved the bag too.

I landed in Charlotte, from Houston, Tx and I immediately wanted some pressed juice! I did a quick Google search, and Viva popped up!
The only down side was the $ 6 that you have to pay to park, just to run in and grab a few bottles in less than 5 mins! The $ 6 could have went toward another bottle!
Overall, the juices were amazing! Thank you Viva! I will be back, and hopefully you will have some #WheatGrass!

As an out-​of-​towner, I went out of my way to find this spot in downtown Charlotte. Parking was tough, but I managed to find a church parking lot around the corner, and not get ticketed.
The juices are all pre-​made and you can sample them before buying, which I had never seen before and was pleasantly surprised. Therefore, I ended up ordering a lot more juice than I had planned on getting! Here are the juices I got, from most to least delicious: The Green Clean; Citrus Twist; Limonaria. I also sampled the one with beets, but no. I cannot get down with beet juice. I knew this, but thought maybe my taste buds would come around. They have not, and I was very grateful I was able to sample it first.
The woman at the counter was so unbelievably nice and friendly! It made my day!

I am torn here. Their juices are excellent, however, when I want to start a juice cleanse-​which is typically over the weekend they never have enough to fill my order. They really push me to start on Monday and when I call back, they are still running low. The girl who answers the phone when I call doesn’t really have any empathy for the situation, it’s quite frustrating. I have gone to a few other places for juices because it is hard to get a full set for juice cleanses here.
On a better note, if and when you do get your order for a juice cleanse– they’re awesome! I did an 6 day juice cleanse and It was great but they ran out of juices when I went back, so I ended there.
But overall, the product is great! Service and logistics seems to be lacking.
They have a special discount for a group of people who want to do a juice cleanse all together. You have to ask for it.

I somewhat sporadically decided to do a juice cleanse and chose Viva Raw after seeing their station at 7^th Street Market. I did not try any of the juices prior to my cleanse (nor have I ever had raw veggie juice) because I didn’t want to discourage myself from doing it in case the juices were nasty! I ordered my juices online for the 3-​day cleanse and the process was very quick and easy. I was able to easily select the type and length of my cleanse and see information for what each juice contained. I also was allowed to mix/​match/​omit certain flavors from the particular cleanse package that I had selected. The site also has a cleanse guide which tells you what to expect, recommended sequence for drinking the favors, encouraging words, etc. Once the order has been placed you have to pick it up at one of the locations. There seemed to be some limited options for delivery, but not to my area.
I was skeptical that I would be able to actually complete the cleanse, but reading the guide before, during and after the cleanse is very encouraging and is actually what convinced me to try it.
Now on to the juices!!! I did a 3-​day cleanse which typically contains 4 juices: Green Clean, Beet Boost, Good Carrma, Pro Fuel:
*Green Clean — cucumber celery CENTRAL! I am not the biggest fan of cucumbers and celery so the first 1 – 3 juices was rough for me, but by Day 2 I had become accustomed to the flavor and actually liked it. It definitely has a taste that can only be described as refreshing!
*Beet Boost — I’m neutral about beets, never considered whether I liked them or not so to drink this was like a punch in the face that told me that I do NOT like beets! To me the drink just tasted like straight dirt and that is the only way I could describe it because I felt like I was drinking mud. I don’t mean to discredit the juice itself, I am sure that some do actually like this flavor. Luckily I was only required to drink this one once per day!
*Good Carrma — Ahhh, my reward of the day. It has a sweeter flavor and tastes more like a typical fruit juice although (slightly).
I had to skip the ProFuel because of a nut allergy.
I do plan to purchase juices from here again for individual beverages as well as doing a longer cleanse in the future. Pricing may be considered steep at ~ $ 7 for a 12oz, but if someone can make cucumber and beet juice tasty enough for ME to consume then its worth it. The juices are made to order and staff at the booth are eager to answer questions. I do recommend at least trying some of their juices, they offer samples.

I just finished a 3 day juice cleanse… Successfully! Viva raw juices are delicious and filling. I have attempted several juice cleanses but this was the first one I was able to finish without losing my mind. Viva raw offers a detailed cleansing guide to reference during your cleanse which was helpful and the staff is super supportive and ready to answer any questions. They are located in the 7^th street market in uptown which is nice because I get to check out the other offering but I really wish viva raw would deliver to my neighborhood in south charlotte so I would be able to incorporate the juices into my regular diet but at least I won’t go broke doing that for now… The juices aren’t cheap!

Really love their juices, my favorite is the Pro Fuel. I did a cleanse and couldn’t wait to get to that drink each night. Will definitely be going back soon for some more. Easy drinks to grab and go, or you can place an order ahead of time. And they let you sample the drinks.

First, Green clean– pretty refreshing but I wanted something sweeter
So the lady gave me try the
Pearfection– Love it, just right amount of sweetness and also refreshing.
I was in the mood for a smoothie, so I asked for a sample of the
Hempfield– OMG ! Perfect blend of hemp milk and greens, exactly what I wanted! It’s so delicious!!!
The other thing is that all the juices/​smoothies are pre-​made so you just grab n go, and They’re about $ 7 a bottle.
Their juices/​smoothies are amazing !!! Totally recommend this place! Skip the frappuccino and milkshake and get a bottle of viva raw!!! It’s delicious and healthy and will totally make your day better!!!

Fell in love with Viva Raw at the Fresh Expo earlier this year by tasting samples at their vendors booth. They were giving out awesome coupons for $ 1.00 off a single juice or 10% off of a juice cleanse. I CRAVED the beet juice, so I finally went and checked out their location in 7^th St. Market. With all of the amazing combinations they offer, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Thankfully they give out samples… What?!? My favorite juices are Good Carma, Beet Boost, Green Clean and Chocolate Pro Fuel. I’ve yet to try one of their cleanses but I’m sure I’ll be doing that in the next few months.
7^th St. Market validates parking so feel free to park in the garage… just make sure to take your ticket in and there are machines in the lobby right outside the market. Just a note… if you drink your juice while walking around the market, you may feel compelled to take the stairs back to your car. DONT DO IT! There’s no re-​entry back into the parking garage so you’ll have to go all the way back down to the lobby… take the elevator… trust me.

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would enjoy not only drinking, but also buying raw juices… #allofthelaughs in your face. Well, the joke is on me.
The Yarby first introduced me to the good folks of Viva Raw back in December. I’ve been obsessed with this grown up juice box sensation ever since.
Scared? Don’t know which one to get? Ask for a sample! Scott, Jordan and the entire crew are sooooo nice, super helpful and knowledgeable. They can answer any of your questions and also explain all things raw juice. Prices are reasonable.
My new favorite is Limonária. It has a slightly spicy note to it. So good. I like all of the green juices, though. I’m also a huge fan of the beet one. Who knew I liked beets?!
You can find Viva Raw inside 7^th Street Public Market. It’s located across from Not Just Coffee. Parking is convenient and free for up to 90 minutes at the adjoining parking garage (7^th Street Station). Just make sure to validate your ticket inside the Market at the machine next to Bonsai Fusion (the sushi place).

Great juice business in Charlotte. Best in class process of juicing along with high quality local produce with variety to the blends of items makes for great selection for all. Get your juice on at Viva. Your health will thank you later.

I’m gonna say that I am not one to normally buy juices like this but I tried it at an event and it was really good. I branched out this time and tried the green clean. It tastes a little grassy if you aren’t use to it but over all refreshing. My favorite is still the Beet Boost.
Located in the 7^th street market with free parking conveniently located. The people at the counter are friend and check outs quick and easy. I was happy to see they took credit cards.

I have my own juicer at home back in California but after finding this place on Unilocal previous to coming out to Charlotte for a couple months, I decided to leave it at home. Although I love the convenience of having fresh raw juice readily available without having to wash and prep vegetables and turn my hotel kitchenette into a war zone, I found that the price was a little too steep for me especially since I normally juice three times a week. Sure I understand that they have to cover the price of the vacuum sealed packaging to ensure freshness, but at $ 6.99 for 12 ounces, that’s an owie for me.
I usually juice the standard Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead greens recipe of kale, celery, green apples, cucumber, lemon juice, and ginger and my yield is between 22 – 30 ounces of juice. I drank the 12 ounces and didn’t get quite the same effect as I do at home. I use juicing as a way to cleanse on a regular basis.
Don’t get me wrong, they have quite a few varieties of juice and they are all delicious and will make you feel amazing. They also have a protein drink (Pro Fuel $ 6.50) that is sooo good! It’s made with almond milk, vegan protein, banana, almond butter, maple syrup, flaxseed oil, cinnamon, and cacao. It’s recommended as an after workout drink but I prefer to drink it as a dessert. That’s how good it is! ;p
Scott, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about the benefits of raw juice and he is very helpful. You can ask to sample the juice as well. I tried Beet Boost ($ 6.00) which is made with beet, apple, carrot, cucumber, orange, lemon, parsley, and ginger and it was tasty! And I’m not really a beet fan.
As much as I wanted to patronize Viva Raw, I couldn’t afford it for the amount of juice they produced. I ended up going to Best Buy and buying a cheap juicer to use for my remaining time in Charlotte and walking once a week to Trader Joe’s/Target to get my juicing ingredients. The alternative is $ 9.50 for 16 oz at Luna’s Living Kitchen which isn’t much better for me in terms of cost.
I was thinking of taking off a star for the value factor, but it’s a good product and I would highly recommend it to those who want to enjoy the benefits of raw juice without the hassle of clean up.

As a long-​time veggie lover and recent convert to raw juicing, I’m always on the lookout for a succulent sip or slice of the season’s finest vegetation. Viva raw offers that… and more!
Walking into the 7^th Street Public Market is a feast for the eyes as well as a parched soul. I wandered in today at lunchtime with a thirst for juice, since I had skipped my usual homemade morning blend. I knew that Viva Raw would be my best bet for a quick liquid meal packing a nutritious punch.
The proprietor is incredibly knowledgable and friendly, offering samples of various juices accompanied by a description of the seasonal veggies and fruits that comprise each. I tried a couple and perked up with the «Pure Green,» my choice for its earthy notes and decided lack of sweetness. It was pure perfection. Definitely trumped my novice attempts at home-​wrought green juice.
I also splurged for some piquant kale chips — dehydrated at temperatures under 104 F, not baked, for maximum nutritional value. I loved the subtle chew of the chips, flavored by cashew, yellow and jalapeño peppers with a hint of agave. Winner all the way around. Kale is a personal favorite of mine for juice, sauté or chips, so this snack is one I’ll return to in the future.
Viva Raw also offers a guide to take you through several juice cleanses, subscriptions and home delivery, making juicing accessible to just about anyone! I almost forgot to mention that each bottle is sealed and perfect for taking on the go or stocking the fridge. Prices are reasonable, especially given the dense constitution of the juices and products. It’s time consuming and costly to purchase a juicer (that you’ll only use for a week), develop juice recipes, purchase fresh produce, make and store the juice, dispose of the byproducts, etc. I’d much rather pay for the expertise present in Viva Raw and partake of their delicious offerings. Plus, it’s local business, which is the heartbeat of the Queen City.
So if you’re into the raw scene, or even if you’re not, Viva Raw is an excellent alternative to a day filled with fast food, processed sugar and regret.
