Customer service was poor. Alarm clock in room was still on daylight savings time in January – 2 months after time change – but desk clerk said it was too much trouble to change it, but she would change it if I brought it to the front desk.

Just stay someplace else that has customer service. Staff here are unfriendly, they do not care about guests. On the plus side, good cable tv, free average breakfast buffet. Internet wifi is provided, but is painfully slow. Don’t think about streaming anything. My ac unit did not function correctly, fan only mode worked. No bedside plugs for pc’s or iPads, wow. Very dated furniture, reminded me of holiday in is the 1960’s. Maybe it is I just do not understand why anyone running a hotel would not put guests first, and train there staff accordingly.

I could only upload a few photos. They consist of the disrepair and rust from the door hinges to the bath tub to the furniture and the scum sludge build up under the shower mat which is the kind that is meant to be disposable. The carpet in the hallway is hideous, stained, and falling apart with holes and tears. The tiles in the hallway and elevator are dirty and many are cracked. There are carvings on the walls and metal doors of the elevator like you would see in a dirty public restroom. The initial smell when we got off the elevator to the 4th floor was of a musty gym bag that had wet swimming trunks inside and had been left in the hot car for a couple days. That was immediately overtaken through the entire 4th floor by the massive stink of cigarette smoke which is ironic due the writing on the room key holder stating«ENJOYOURCOMPLIMENTARYFRESHAIR. OURHOTELISNOW100% SMOKEFREE». Checkout isn’t until noon and it’s even posted on the wall behind the front desk. That didn’t stop the cleaning crew from opening our door, TWICE. Once at 9am and again at 11am, even though we had yet to check out. The room was nothing special. I can’t stress enough that all I am writing is not embellished nor exaggerated at all. I was so disgusted with the shower situation that I almost didn’t take one. I still don’t know what that white creamy build up was under the shower mat. And the shower is not roomy. Cost was 168.67. I have a review on the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Ashville I stayed at the night before and literally for a just few dollars more had a 5 star experience. The two nights before that I stayed at a resort at Lake Lure and it was even cheaper. I don’t care what your standards are for a bargain hotel but regardless of any price they could have charged, this was not worth it. It was disgusting. Wyndam should be embarrassed for even putting their name on this hotel and seriously needs to revisit this franchise. Also, what does is say about your clientele when you actually have to put a price list for stealing items like the coffee pot, pillow, or alarm clock? Who frickin steals an ironing board?

Terrible hotel. I stayed here because I had no other option after a canceled flight. I was rebooked on a 5:30am flight. I spoke to the gentlemen at the front desk at 3:57am and told him I was on my way down and when I arrived in the lobby at 4:01 the shuttle was gone. He then called a cab, which was supposed to arrive in 5 – 10 mins and showed up in 20. You are better off sleeping in the airport than wasting your $ 100 on this hotel

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. I have to say that it will provide you with very reliable transportation to and from the airport, clean and mostly well maintained rooms, and friendly service. The hotel location isn’t bad relative to the CLT airport and there is a good variety of restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store as well. The Internet speed is decent and is much faster than the last time I stayed here. The continental breakfast and fitness center are among the weakest I have seen in a long time. I would recommend this to someone who isn’t overly concerned with luxury and just needs a decent place to sleep for a night or two.

Stayed here when my connecting flight out of CLT was cancelled. The people here were very accommodating and the rate was pretty good. Room was decent and the property seems pretty well maintained. Breakfast was below par even for the standard mid-level hotel breakfast bars these days. You can walk to a couple of fast food places, two restaurants and a Food Lion supermarket.
