I am currently renting a house, and as I’m preparing to move, the house is listed for sale. This company was asked by the buyers to provide a home inspection. However, no one (not buyers/​sellers/​realtors/​this company) contacted me with the planned date/​time of the home inspection. So when they showed up and found the house empty and locked up (because I was was at work) they «let themselves in.» They claim a door to the garage was left unlocked but I ALWAYS lock that door. I suspect they jimmied it open. This is horribly unprofessional behavior at least and criminal breaking and entering at most. I have never felt my privacy so violated! I had valuables and confidential documents lying around because I did not expect anyone to be coming over. I have never before dealt with such an unprofessional business. Definitely think twice before doing business with them.
