Charlottesville Amtrak Station

I come down to Charlottesville every few months to visit family and the station meets the need — plenty of parking and they have staff there in addition to the ticket kiosk. It’s definitely a typical old school train station that has all that you need in one place. This includes the Wild Wings Café located on the other side of the station building where you can stop in for a beer and wings while waiting for the train. If you’re feeling extra confident, it’s closeness to downtown means it’s close to great restaurants like Bella’s (italian) where to can have a good meal before heading out of town.
If you head to Charlottesville, take the train — it’s relaxing and a great way to get welcomed to this sophisticated, yet easy-​going city.
