I love fried chicken. There is something about that drumstick covered in coating and fried that just speaks to my heart. My stomach rumbles and my mouth salivates at the mere hint of good fried chicken. Of course I have tried many restaurants in search of the perfect chicken. None of them do justice to Goco.
This is the home to some of the most delicious glorious juicy flavorful fried chicken I have ever had. I used to eat here all the time and now I’m on the west cost I still make a pilgrimage here every single time I come home. «Dinner’s» come with a white dinner roll and an order of potato wedges… which are nice lightly coated pieces of savory potatoey goodness. My mouth drools every time I think of this place.
Don’t let the fact that it’s a nondescript gas-​station fool you! Inside awaits a fried chicken culinary delight. Add on some beer or soda and you have yourself a perfectly indulgent Southern dinner.
