This place is pretty confusing to find if you want to park here. Then when you pull up and your cars valet $ 7 a day. It’s $ 244 a night regularly and then a $ 50 hold for things, so if you’re there for 2 days take away $ 14 from that $ 50.(They told me this when I checked in, but when I checked out they said there wasn’t going to be $ 50 hold). Reserved for a king, got 2 queens. Got it changed though but they had to clean etc and couldn’t get in until later which was frustrating. And it only had a shower, and after a long day I was dreaming of a bath. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel with only a shower. There was mold in the shower, and I just didn’t feel like it was clean. The bed was somewhat comfy. Very small room with plaid carpeting and a view of a parking deck. It is nice because you can walk everywhere downtown but next time I may choose elsewhere.

Fun, caring staff. Laquisha, Marco & Shenendoah were wonderful to us many times throughout our stay. We were in town due a a medical emergency & the staff went out of their way to check on us, comfort us in any way possible. The lobby is fun, the second floor game room/bar is comfy & roomy, the hotel room itself was eclectic, clean, with comfy beds and great pillows. Overall, great stay. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Everything about The Graduate is quintessential Charlottesville. It all starts at the front desk, where I am always greeted with a chipper employee(Marco is my favorite!), who welcomes me warmly. The rooms are excellent — great furnishings(lots of outlets!), comfy beds, and quiet! The common areas are fun and there is always something to do. I also love Sheepdog, the coffeeshop in the lobby, that makes a mean latte. I highly recommend the Graduate to anyone visiting!

A surprisingly quirky and fun hotel for Charlottesville. I recently stayed there while in town for a wedding. The hotel is nothing to write home about from your first impression. The lobby looks a bit dated and smells a little musty. The elevators are slow and a bit cramped. But once you get up to the rooms, you see they are going for a really cool retro design. The rooms really pull off the theme, it’s sad the lobby does not do the same. Our room was a great size with a comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. Overall it’s a decent hotel and one I would definitely return to.

THE hip choice in Charlottesville. It’s mid century modern meets eclectic vintage. Super fun! Close to everything. This hotel feels like a Wes Anderson set with so much attention to detail. Great bathroom, super comfy bed and a really fun«collegiate» theme. Tasty coffee shop in the lobby. The Graduate allows you to check out bikes complimentary and the staff was very friendly.
