The shop owner, Ananda is truly the best! She is well-​trained, an artist, and thoroughly knowledgeable in the craft of nails – pedicures and manicures – and all that goes with them. I had the privilege of going to Ananda for four years for ‘pink & white” acrylics, but could not talk her into moving with me to CA. At one point I had a broken wrist, making it difficult to move my fingers, but she adapted like the professional she is. Ananda’s sister also helps out in the shop, and, like Ananda, is equally as kind and talented as her sister.
Yes, parking can be tricky downtown, but I found parking in the lot across from the York building on Main (just don’t forget quarters to feed meters). Inside the nail shop, payment is easy with «Square» using almost any card.
When you choose this shop, you will get more than you pay for! You will walk away with beautiful, perfect nails; plus, over time, you will gain new friends.

She was able to fit me in same day for a French tip shellac. She didn’t rough up my nail surface like some people do which I liked, as it can make your nails thinner over time. And my nails look incredible.

Had full set of Shellac gel nails with french tips. Everything turned out great. I was made very comfortable there. She was very gentle during soak off and cuticle removal. The gel was applied in light layers so it looks very natural. Already made my appointment for my return in two weeks.
The only bad thing I can think of is the parking. Downtown mall is a busy area and street parking is very hard to find. They don’t validate parking for the lots there so I had to pay $ 4. Not a big deal since the service is so great.

This is definitely the best place for nails I’ve ever been to! Ananda is so sweet and uses only top quality materials. My nails stay beautiful for SO long because of the gel overlay! People always ask me if my nails are acrylic, I love telling them they are natural:)

Ananda is the best person in town for manicures and pedicures! Her new shop in York place on the Dwtn Mall is very convenient and by far the cleanest shop in town! Great stop if you are in need of a pedicure bc of athletic activities! And a side bonus, Ananda is great at waxing as well! I won’t go to any of the cheap strip mall nail places because they are dirty and the customer service is terrible. Ananda is very busy so just make sure you call ahead!
