Smoothie King

Decent location but appears to be a low volume location and the cleanliness of the store really varies on the employee (s) working. Also the speed of service varies between okay speed to very slow.
Best smoothie place on the East side of town and not the best SK ever but still gets the job done.

I tried to check in here on my iPhone app, but after a quick search, I saw that it had not yet been entered! Hmmm! That’s okay, it gave me an oppportunity to be FTR — haven’t done that in a while =)
Anywho.
Hubs and I were off for a nice Sunday drive, and thought it would be nice to grab a smoothie to share for the road! Luckily for me, I remembered that we had received some SK coupons in the mail recently, so win-​win!
I hadn’t been to a SK in forever — back in Florida, we had Planet Smoothie, and for some reason, I didn’t think of my SK memory as one that was particularly memorable, so I hadn’t made my way to either Cville SK location yet. But $ 2 off a 32 oz? I had to give them another try!
The Abbey Rd. location was nice — right next to Starbucks, with LOTS of parking available. I ordered the Island Impact smoothie — super yum! I have to admit I was a little intimidated by the HUGE menu (I think that’s why I still love Jamba the best — less choices) but once I focused in on what ingredients I wanted most in my smoothie, it was smooth sailing.
The staff was friendly and fast — and the smoothie was TASTY! Although smoothies are definitely something I like to make at home, with the coupons, SK gives me a reason to go out and get one as a treat =)
