One of the best bead shops in the country. Whenever I travel I visit bead shops, and I’ve never found a better one.

Studio Baboo is a very comprehensive beading and jewelry notions store — since I’m relatively new to beading as a craft, or jewelry notions (having only recently started wire crochet), it was nice to be greeted by knowledgeable and friendly people. Having said that, I can’t really comment on HOW comprehensive they are — only that they’re dedicated to beading and jewelry (and wirecraft) and it’s a pretty sizeable store for something specialized like that.
Namely, I was looking for gold and silver fill findings (as I have metal sensitivities). Considering they were noticeably cheaper than I’ve found in New York City, I bought a bunch, with extras for the future. I could probably go online to find similar things, but I still prefer to SEE what I’m getting first. That’s worth a small premium.
Did I mention the friendly staff? Everyone was sooooo nice.
