Gym Member in good standing. Went through 10 minute call to get a facial booked but they need a credit card to hold it? Oasis and Keswick and Boars Head have never asked for this, members or not. Sorry, ACAC, not near a credit card while driving so taking business somewhere else.

Attentive spa staff and gym passes are inuded with the treatment. Excellent products like eminence organics and blink cosmetics. Will try a facial next time. The massage I got today was good, but i didn’t feel relaxed afterward, and it didn’t feel like an hour.

We’ll call it the«I’m late to catch a cab uptown» massage experience. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few good elements of the massage I had here. But overall, the massage therapist(who shall go unnamed — if the spa manager reads this, that’s enough for me) didn’t take time with his work. In past massages, the strokes were deliberate and focused; this was not that. I’d have liked him to take more time with each area of the body rather than rushing through everything. A few tidbits: — He tossed the massage oil bottle on the table where my legs were. That is a huge no-no in my book. — He was seated the entire massage. As someone who likes very firm pressure – bordering on getting the snot beat out of me – there’s no way to do that without standing. — The first 10 minutes featured him rubbing every which way on my back — *without massage oil. This was extremely uncomfortable and I told him so. It’s a couple hours later and my skin is still sore.(As soon as I turn in to a pork chop, a dry rub will make sense; in the meantime, lotion/oil from the beginning.) — When you’re slap happy and rushy-rushy, you’re more apt to hit bone occasionally, and that happened too. This rating is for the massage only. The staff was very nice to me and the place is pleasant enough to be in – so it has that going for it. I don’t anticipate transforming in to a cut of meat, so I’ll probably go elsewhere next time for a massage.

I gave the new spa a try since I am a member, but the new spa is not so much! They moved the location and made it smaller and much less appealing. You walk in and there is a very office-looking desk and some cushioned seating. A coffee table with magazines and some products on some low tables and shelves. Feels more like a doctor’s office waiting room than a spa relaxation area — especially since gym goers can look in the door and see you sitting there waiting for your appointment. the massages are still pretty good — same staff as before — but there are spas with much better ambiance in town for about the same price. I would think that starting from scratch they would have made a fabulous facility.

Went here for a few eyebrow waxes over a few months since I had a giftcard. It can get kind of expensive, but my eyebrows have never looked better. The therapists really work with you and develop your eyebrow shape. The private rooms are incredibly relaxing. Just wish it was a little cheaper. $ 28 for a non-member is a little bit pricey.

Great therapists! Have had several fantastic massages and facials here.
