I have frequented this shop many times and never had the problem Mr. Kyle F reported on 3÷19÷2016 with his 1 star review. The old gentleman that owns this place is just that, he is very old and he has a sense of humor. People need to try wearing a sense of humor sometimes, the man was likely joking with that customer. Also, proper communications is a lost art. Older people expect you to tell them at least your first name… its common courtesy lost to our younger people, many of whom have zero couth and probably have to google that word to even know what it is. Try introducing yourself to people when you call them, it goes a long way: «Hi, this is Kenny, I was wondering if you carry a specific tobacco I’m looking for». Try it sometime folks, you’d be surprised what a little communications skills can get you in life let alone treating other people the way you would want to be treated. Do you like it when someone«barks» a question at you? Ask, politely. I am not tobacco or cigar expert and everyone here has always been very nice and helpful to me. This is not a big place and they could make more money if they got rid of the«gifts» and expensive items and sold more smoking stuff. I fear they will go out of business when the old man dies. These shops are disappearing just like gentlemanly smoking is disappearing. I plan to patronize them until that happens.

The owner of the store is not very friendly, when I inquired over the phone if they carried a particular tobacco, his response was: «Who wants to know?» I should have known better. The price of tobacco and pipes are over-priced, if you want tobacco – look online first. Even their selection of Missouri Meerschaum pipes are much more expensive than what you will find in other stores. Do not recommend visiting this store. Customer service is poor.
