LeBlanc Oil

Always friendly and fast delivery. Prices are usually the best in the area as well. I see that others say their customer service is lacking but I have been using them for 7 years now and have never had a bad experience.

I have been using LeBlanc Oil for 3 years now. I have no issues with them, as I know they are pretty much an Oil Only company. I call to request oil, they deliver the oil the next day. No issues. We did have an issue last year with our boiler, and I knew they didn’t service, but they made a recomendation for an independant repair worker, and we were happy with our price and service. I prefer this over the higher prices from the other companies. Just my take.

I would agree with the previous reviewer that the price is the cheapest in the area, but the customer service is HORRID!
I called to get oil on a Monday morning, I was told they would come Tuesday. I called Tuesday due to the impending snow storm and was told they were unsure if the delivery would happen, I was called later and told the truck would be coming. At 4 o’clock another phone call, this time the truck tried but could not get into the driveway due to snow. I was able to get through my driveway just fine in a car and I could see where the truck drove into the snowbank on the side of the driveway, not even in proper «driveway» and left. Wednesday came and the driveway had been plowed but the street had been plowed so there was a 2 inch berm on the edge of the drive, I watched the truck drive up, stop in front of the house, and keep on going. I called Leblanc’s and asked if he would come back, we had shoveled a path to the fill in the back of the house and there was less then 2 inches in the drive. I was told. no, we had not been plowed since the street was plowed so oh well, they would come back at some point on Thursday. I spoke with the owner Kevin Leblanc and not only was he unhelpful, he informed me if I didn’t like it I could call another company.
Now since my card had been charged already I told him, fine I’ll see you tomorrow, but at this point I’m running the risk of running out of oil before you get here.
They finally arrived at 4pm on Thursday.
I will NEVER use Leblanc Oil again, you get what you pay for and honestly I would rather have customer service then save 5 cents a gallon on heating oil.

On the plus side, they are usually the best price in the area for oil and usually deliver the next day.
The negative (you knew there was one the way this started), they are terrible for service. They do not have their own service department and farm it all out. Every time I needed service their were issues getting someone to the home.
If I need a service call, I don’t want to hear about being unable to get a hold of the guy or problems with the fax machine.
The last straw came last fall. I needed to have my oil tank replaced as it was sinking into the dirt floor and had a tiny leak. I had already been quoted a price and waited to empty the tank before scheduling the work. When I called, George at first didn’t remember me and then was a no show to do the work. No call, nothing. When I called to inquire what had happened, I was unable to get in touch with him. Not exactly good customer service. Oh well, i have since taken my business else where they believe in taking care of the customer.
