I had my daughters graduation party here in the area outside of the banquet rooms. There is fountain and it mimics the streets of Italy. A friend recommended it and I LOVED it. You MUST check it out!!! The food was good too!!!

This place is going downhill. It’s a hotel that used to be nice and is pretending that it’s not a total dump. The longer you stay the more you will find things in disrepair. The fountain in the lobby doesn’t work. The pool has been in repair for a month. The gym is pretty dated. No towels for members or guests, no paper-towel to clean machines. A bucket in the hallway catching water from a leaky ceiling… Not a temporary fix by the way. Many things just don’t work or have not been repaired. Racquetball court and cigar lounge for instance, are former luxury amenities that used to make this place a 4 star hotel. But now they stand empty and darks the continental breakfast is terrible. Bland food, simply gross. This place looks like they will be renting out weekly kitchenettes to low income people very soon, if they haven’t already.

The first thing we noticed were the patches of dried seamen on the bed. Then we noticed the party streamers still hung up over the bath tub left by the previous guest. Then we noticed the flies, the hand prints on the mirrors, and what appeared to either be BBQ sauce or maple syrup on the coffee table. We called the front desk and explained that the room was filthy and we asked if we could be moved. We were put on hold for 15 minutes. My boyfriend and I agreed that we weren’t interested in staying there anymore. Then he and I went down to the front desk and explained that I wanted my card to not be charged in any way because we were leaving. The clerk at the desk refused to put it in writing that I was not to be charged in the event that my card was put through. I explained that I wanted to have some proof in case I needed to get my money back. She said that there was no manager we could speak with. It took my boyfriend threatening to call the police for the manager to magically be called and for me to get a statement.

One of the phones in my room did not work — so I went to the reception area and told them. Did anyone come out — no. There was no air in the elevators or hallways — so it was mighty stuffy! Most of the lights in the room were burned out or just not replaced. This sort of reminded me of a place that will be going belly-up within the next year. My nephew had his wedding and reception here because they have a couple of halls. It was nice enough, nothing to write home about. Hopefully the price was right for my nephew. Food was decent nothing great. Had fun at the reception. The wine though was outstanding!!! That was the best thing about this place! In the morning they provided a breakfast with sausage and eggs –e eeeek — they were rubbery, should’ve taken some to throw on my tires!!! Would not recommend this place only if you go to a wedding or party here and plan on drinking so you will not drink and drive!

Absolutely fabulous! We had our wedding here in October of 2012 and it was a perfect experience. The food is beyond amazing and our guests loved the unique venue. We were married in the promenade area in front of a dozen floor to ceiling windows. Gorgeous! Andy, Donna, and Robert were so helpful during the 14 months we worked with them. We highly recommend them!
