The Chaska Community Center is one of the best in the metro area. They’ve got two full size ice rinks(and recently renovated them), two basketball courts, raquetball, a cycling/fitness class area, treadmills/free weights/Nautilus, a lap pool, lazy river for the kids, and a lot more. They have a clinic for athletes who need rehab, elevators for those who can’t use the stairs, a large theater that can be reserved; the list goes on and on. The prices are very reasonable too. Parking is not great and there can be bottlenecks and waiting during busy times. All in all, a great facility and I highly recommend it for folks who live in the area.

I moved from Minneapolis to Victoria, trading the hip and happening lifestyle for the quiet and relaxed suburban groove. It took me a bit to get used to the change, but after having adjusted, I’m happy to have discovered this place! This place is an amazing amenity for the people of Chaska and is run really well. It offers all kinds of workout equipment(cardio/weights), two large gyms, Racquetball courts, a pool with a waterslide, a hot tub, sauna(dry and wet), «splash pad» for the kids, an ice skating/hockey rink and much more. It’s an up-to-date facility and has a minimal crowd of «Meathead» patrons, which is why I like it so much. Anyone can come here for a workout and not feel uncomfortable. It’s also very inexpensive. My girlfriend and I were able to join for $ 55ish per month, total. The YMCA in Downtown Minneapolis wants $ 63PERPERSON! Anyway, you get the point. I can’t say enough good things about the CCC, so if you live near it and are thinking about it, do it!
