We went last night(Halloween) we were all pretty excited to go the roads were super slippery and wet in fact they had cars driving up hills fast so they wouldn’t get stuck. We walked in 1−2″ of mud the whole night not that its there fault but made for tough walking! The 1st haunted house we went into was the«Meltdown» it was scary and fun, but after that its as if they didn’t have enough staff we went through most with some having 3 people to scare you. We did pay for the fast pass that was cool didn’t have to wait too long in lines. They had another VIP pass but only had 2 places for the VIP for an extra 10 bucks it wasn’t worth it for 2 more places to go. All in all we gave it an OK vote, would we go back? Nope but it was worth trying it out on Halloween night next year were going to try another place it would have been worth the $ 35.00 bucks each if all the haunted houses were as good as the 1st pretty much a night of walking in the dark hoping to get scared… didn’t happen for us!

A group of us went on 24th. A record setting night for number of people going. It rained the day before. We got there at 850 and took the back roads so we came in from the west in 212 and skipped the car back up. It was middy but we parked as soon as we got past the driveway and walked two fields to the entrance. We were able to bu pass more mud and car waiting that way. If you go parking closer to the entrance isnt necessarily faster. We got there and waited in line for about 30 – 40 mins to get in. We bought our tickets online. Just theregular. Although everyone had to wait in line to get in. The fast pass and vip are for when you get in. They are definilty worth paying extra for becuase they had to wait mabe 10 mins to get in where as with regular tickets we waited an hour. The meltdown was a nice warmul. It wasnt really too scary but was well put together and still impressive. The actors were teenagers and they were tired you could tell. It still scared some of the girls in our group a bit. The next one we went to was The circus one. That one alone made the whole trip worth it. It was a ling wait but the actors were on point. Unpredictable and dressed to the T. The house had tons of turns and phychological mind tricks you could not tell what to expect and the actors did a good job on instilling panic on the group. We made it out all alive and well haha and had stories. The rest we didnt have time for because it was 1150 by the time we got out. Id go again with friends that havent gone before but would go earlier in october. Hope this helps. Oh dress warm and wear old shoes, dont drink you wont appreciate it as much.

Very fun! The VIP pass was the way to go to avoid all the long lines and we went in a couple mazes a 2nd time. Mazes were fun and suspenseful so we will be going again next year!

This place is quite a ways out there but it has several attractions that you can go into over and over. The price on the weekend was $ 25 and we upgraded to the«Fast Pass» for another $ 9 and it was worth it. We hit every attraction twice. They were a bit understaffed for a Saturday though. I think they need more bodies working the attractions. The walk through the woods is quite long so wear the right shoes! –I am talking to you, ladies!

We have went with friends the last few years and find it to be a fun night out. Nothing is too scary, but the real fun is to bring people that scare easily and let the fun begin. The Redneck Resort, Oak Blood forest and Circus aslyum have the best set pieces, some so elaborate you don’t want to rush through. This year,(2012) the Corn one was very long and a bit boring, but at least we got good walk out of it. Rabid alley is ok, but you find yourself bumping into wall constantly. There are two ways to pay, regular and fastpass for an extra ten bucks. We got there after eight this year so opted for the fastpass, which saved so much time we did a couple of them twice. If you get there after 8:30 and want to see them all, fastpass is must. All in all worth the trip, but do the Alley and corn last.

Very family friendly. I was not really«scared» once. I was surprised maybe 3 – 4 times over the three hours i spent there. Some had a good time– but there was just always too much reminding you how it was a fake environment.

Screamtown has been putting on a good show in recent years. It has several mazes, from the short HIllbilly Motel to the long corn maze that takes forever to get though. It’s much longer than it looks!(The motel is being redesigned for 2012, evidently, as the Redneck Resort.) It has another outdoor trail that takes you through a wooded area that has cool lights, a long circus/asylum maze and Rabid Alley, a maze that is totally dark throughout most of it. It looks like this year there are two new attractions that are part of the VIP pass, which is more than double the regular admission price.(For another $ 30 or so, these two attractions must be pretty spectacular.) Regular admission is now priced higher for peak nights than it is for off nights. And you can pay extra for a «fast pass» for admission to each haunt. That’s an unfortunate gimmick many haunted attractions are turning to. There is cool, unique stuff at Screamtown. I doubt I will get there this year. I’ll be interested to hear if the new VIP only attractions are worth an extra $ 30. They seem like long attractions, and I wonder how easily you can get through the rest of the stuff in one night. If I pay $ 55 or $ 60, I’m going to want to see it all.
