Chatham Gables Inn

The inn is absolutely charming and stunning! The place is spotless and extremely well kept. The food in the morning is gourmet and the owners are lovely. A great time for people of all ages!

My (now) fiancé and I stayed at the Chatham Gables Inn during the weekend that I proposed to her on Thursday and Friday nights. I had never been to a bed and breakfast before, but I decided to try the LivingSocial deal during the off season. My experience had many highlights:
— I called early after receiving the deal but all Friday and Saturday nights had already been booked. I decided to do Thursday and Friday instead and it worked very nicely. I was greeted nicely even though they were dealing with plenty of fellow LivingSocial buyers.
— We ended up getting in rather late, but I got a call along the way and they left us a key.
— The room was very nice, with an extremely large bed, fresh sheets, excellent color and décor, and an iced bottle of champagne waiting.
— Breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere was friendly without forced conversation.
— The Inn is right near the downtown Chatham area, which is convenient.
— The owners are very, very friendly and talked to us about the house and recommended areas to visit. After finding out about our engagement on the final morning, they offered to take some pictures out in the Inn’s garden/​lawn.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Chatham Gables Inn as a clean and relaxing vacation to anyone. My thanks again to the owners for the pictures!

Absolutely beautiful place. Super charming and super clean! Nick and Brian are superior hosts. They can guide you to all of the wonderful sites in Cape Cod. Top of the line linens and yummy breakfast. We would stay there again and again. Hey… and free wi-​fi. Even the big hotels are still charging for that…

Just wrote a long review for this place on tripadvisor. I will keep it short here but just wanted to say that we had a fabulous time at this Inn, Loved our room, the breakfast in the lovely dining area each morning, its a super clean place and the hosts Brian and Nick are fabulous and polite. I totally liked them. I will def return and I strongly recommend people to stay at this Inn. It is peaceful, beautiful and what else can I say? I am short of words but I loved and enjoyed our stay here v much.

I’ve had so many bad travel/​vacation experiences that I think if the Chatham Gables Inn had been vaguely nice I would have written a stellar review just for the contrast. BUT the Chatham Gables Inn is even better than that! This place is gorgeously decorated, Nick and Brian are super sweet. The place was as quiet as a church which made my stay even better. They were helpful, professional, and cooked a mean breakfast.
You should just up and take a vacation just for a chance to stay with them I say.

We got a good deal with one of the on-​line discount promotion sites and thought it would be great to get a Cape get away before the busy season. Chatham is a great little town and the Inn is an old renovated building that was perfectly re-​done. All the old charm with modern conveniences. Brian and Nick made us feel very welcomed. They were probably the nicest innkeepers we have met. The room was great and the breakfast did not disappoint. Loved the entire experience! Maybe as a suggestion it would be nice to have an afternoon tea or something since the Inn was pretty quiet in the afternoon. Would highly recommend it. We’ve been to a lot of Inns and this was one of our best experiences. Hope to get back there soon. Gerard & Leslie

We stayed at CGI using a BuyWithMe voucher as well, and the place is phenomenal. The inn has all the charm and character you might hope for in a B&B– we had room #1, and I echo Dave’s comments about the great light during the day and the cozy fireplace at night.
In the morning, we had a lovely breakfast hosted by Nick and Brian. They made fabulous pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fruit cups for us and were cheerful, warm, and fun to talk to.
We went to CGI in late February, and even then, Chatham was a fun getaway. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for a weekend on the Cape.

We had the pleasure of a two night stay at the Chatham Gables Inn after acquiring the BuyWithMe package, which also came with fresh flowers and a bottle of champagne on arrival.
Our room (#1) was immediately off the shared space by the door of the inn, so folks looking for more privacy and less noise from other guests should pick a different room. But we loved all the light we got during the day and the in room fireplace at night. In warmer months, there’s a small porch off of this room as well (besides temperature, its a little too exposed to use in the winter as well).
In the interest of indulging in some booze, we walked to two different restaurants in the evening: the Red Nun (straightforward cape sports pub) and Campari’s. However, the walk to Campari’s was a bit of a deathtrap considering there were no streetlights or sidewalks for much of the way. Go to to Red Nun if you value your life.
Nick & Brian were consummate hosts, attentive and charming. Our housekeeper (Natalie?) was very sweet as well. The included breakfast was tasty and fresh. Don’t skip the blueberry muffin, its delicious.

I’ll echo the other reviews: The Inn is a superlative getaway spot. Charming rooms, comfortable common spaces, and, most importantly, welcoming and attentive staff make me want to return as soon as possible. (And we left this morning.)
We booked on Groupon, and, throughout our stay, we repeatedly remarked to each other how this was *by far* the nicest place we’d ever stayed– My beat up Adidas track bag was incongruous with the carefully chosen furniture, to say the very least. But we didn’t feel out of place or looked down upon at the Chatham Gables Inn; rather, we were welcomed warmly by the owners, who truly made us feel at home.
Our room was spacious, and had a gas fireplace. The bed was beyond comfortable, and, as bizarre as it sounds, the linens smelled amazing. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and tasty, and the breakfast room itself is lovely.
My only complaints are that the shades in the bedroom didn’t do a great job of blocking out light and I’ll echo the complaint about noisy upstairs guests, but, all in all, this was a near-​perfect experience. Highly, highly recommended!

I stayed here a night this past weekend and I don’t even hate that today is monday! this place is a perfect relaxing getaway.
obviously right now is off season for the cape so it was very quiet which was great. there were other guests at the inn, and one draw back of staying at any inn is you can typically hear everyone else there. I had room one, which is the only room on the first floor, lovely large with its own porch and fireplace. however, the people above me walked like elephants so that was a bit annoying. also, draw back of room 1, the inn in general is not exactly off the beaten path. I’m not sure about other rooms, but from room 1 you can hear every car (and truck) going by. other then that, which aren’t really things that would deter me from staying here again, my visit was enjoyable!
the room was beautifully decorated, the linens were so soft and smelled awesome. I would recommend room one for the simple fact of the private fire place, that was great to have! my stay came with breakfast, served by the owners Nick and Brian who were really great and friendly. Jesse had checked me in and upon my arrival gave me a little map and suggested places to see, eat, and shop that was really helpful. for being off season a good bulk of the stores on main street are still open which was nice. be sure to stop into the squire for a cup of chowder, its a local spot nothing fancy but a cool vibe and delicious soup :)
overall, my stay was exactly what I needed. they owners were hospitable, the inn was gorgeous, and the place was spotless clean. hopefully I’ll be back for another stay!
