Chatham Seafarer

We had a great weekend at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, walking distance to Ridgevale beach. The pool area is nice and clean, although a little shade would be a great thing. Maybe some umbrellas would help. The management was very nice and responsive. My sister-​in-​law had a broken screen door in her room, and it was fixed immediately after she reported it broken. We will certainly be back.

Stayed 3 nights here with my husband. I’m a clean freak so was very impressed w/​how pristine the room was — looks like there were recent renovations. My husband and I agreed, it’s clear they carefully choose who they hire –the friendliest and most helpful staff. Location is perfect. Will definitely be back. You get more than what you pay for here.

Excellent front desk service. Knowledgeable, rep’s who know the area and activities well. Great value, clean and comfortable. Great place to say and not break the bank.

We stayed here for a week in early June. What a cute spot. It’s really authentic Cape Cod… clean, good price (value), located near the Cape Cod bike path, close to beach and town.
The beach down the street is a very picturesque beach– warm water and beautiful views. My kids felt very safe in shark free waters!
The ‘efficiency’ (with a kitchen) was perfect for four. Comfortable, quiet and clean.
It looks like there are new owners– a lot of work was being finished as we arrived. New gardens/​new furniture/​painting/​TV and the pool area is really nice.
The manager serves coffee in the morning and is very eager to be helpful.
We will be back next year with friends.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary late September this year. It rained the whole weekend. The owner is super nice and sweet, the bed was cozy, the room was clean. Pretty basic. I might try somewhere else next time. But when staying in Chatham, for 125 a night it’s good for the price.

We are staying at the Chatham Seafarer for our fourth summer vacation. We found this place four years ago and have been coming back every year since.
Rooms are always very clean, spacious with hardwood floors and yield comfortable mattresses. Also, the large; heated; outdoor pool is very nice to have during chilly days and evenings.
The Chatham Seafarer is conveniently located less than a mile from the famous Ridgevale beach and a few minutes drive from the fancy Chatham downtown, with fine dining and shopping. The Ridgevale beach is the most children friendly beach at the Cape with shallow water inlets. The beach is in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound and the water temperatures usually seen 70–75 °F in the summer.
The Chatham Seafarer is a family owned place. The manager/​owner, Annie, is always kind, generous and helpful to her guests. It feels like we are visiting friends.
We also love landscape and gardens. Mature trees give plenty of shade. We can see rabbits and a lot of birds. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet.
My whole family would like to recommend the Chatham Seafarer.

The owner of this place is very sweet. If you don’t know the area I would highly suggest asking where to go and eat. She was so eager and helpful.
The hotel was very clean as was the pool. It is on the outstretches of town and is about a mile from the beach. If you are on a budget it is the perfect place to stay on the Cape. I would definitely stay here again.
