This restaurant’s atmosphere took a 360 degrees turn. Previously it was called Danielle’s Bistro — quaint Italian countryside atmosphere. Now, it looks like a club with the color red everywhere! Chatham is a family town with a New Englandish feel so to see Fuoco with that kind of atmosphere was surprising. Food wise — We ordered their margherita pizza many times but since changing to Fuoco(although they say they have the same food before, I disagree) — the pizza is not quite the same, even my 4 year daughter notices it. They still have some signature dishes from Danielle’s Bistro but I noticed the portions have been scaled back. The homemade spinach ravioli with asparagus is still tasty! I don’t recommend any of the fish dishes… bit dry. The rigatoni(eggplant, mozzarella and basil sauce) is the family favorite but the mozzarella chunks are not as many as before making it just a rigatoni with eggplant and sauce. Looks like they add some french dishes — want to try their cassoulet and bouillabaisse. So, the restuarant could possibly be French-Italian but in a clubby way… not the rustic countryside that I would expect to match their menu.
