I was walking through downtown Chatham and I noticed this new store Sol Optics. I typically shop at sunglass hut, but I decided to check this place out. The service was phenomenal. The young lady working there was incredibly helpful and patient with me trying on many shades before picking out a new pair. She focused on finding shades that looked the best on me instead of pushing the most expensive pair. You can really tell that customer satisfaction is their main priority.

I had some problems with a pair of sunglasses that I had purchased a few days before. The manager of the store went over and beyond to help me resolve my problem. She was kind, professional and patient. What a pleasure. It’s nice to deal with stores that truly honor their guarantees.

Every year I come home for the summer, and this is the best place to purchase sunglasses. Whether it be at their P-Town or Chatham location the customer service is always top notch, and find yourself actually having a meaningful convo with the staff. They aren’t at all focused on a sales pitch or numbers game. The gent that who works there with Western Mass roots, I forgot his name was stellar! There’s a reason I purchase my new sunnies here every year! Thanks guys for the continued top notch service year after year.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here. I was shopping for sunglasses for myself(I HATE glasses shopping and I can never find any that look good on me) but the salespeople made it a much more enjoyable. They had a great selection and were very knowledgeable on the product and what shapes would work best for me. Also they fixed my old sunglasses and my husbands glasses free of charge. Excellent shopping experience, great spot & great customer service. Would recommend

For a store in their first season in Chatham, one would think that customer service would be a top priority. We were in need of a pair of sunglasses and noticed Sol Optics on Main Street. We purchased a pair of Ray Bans and went along our way. Not even 4 days later, my sister noted a divot in the lense and couldn’t figure out where it came from. The glasses had not been dropped at all. She went back to Sol Optic and the girl working was lovely. She said that she was sure that she could help us out– I want to give credit to this woman since she was not the problem. Later, the manager stated that there were scratches on the lenses and that he couldn’t do anything at all for my sister because he would lose $$$. Hmm, we question these scratches since we couldn’t see them and how did we know he didn’t sell them to us like that. Honestly, it’s not even the fact that he said he couldn’t help us, it was the way he spoke to my sister and his rude attitude and manner. He was nice enough when he waited on us 4 days earlier and took our money for the Ray Bans. My sister ended up calling Ray Ban and they are fixing her glasses at no cost. I ended up buying a pair of Ray Bans for myself at the Sunglass Hut in Macy’s where not only do they tell you up front that they repair/replace glasses that are broken or damaged for a year, but they also let you use your 20% off coupon. So much for trying to support the local business when it comes to sunglasses.
