Negative stars. I want my money back. It was terrible. I’m done giving them a chance. They found a way to ruin literally everything in my order. In the drive through we ordered a crispy chicken wrap with honey mustard, turkey melt with fries, and two drinks. First, they forgot our fries. When we asked them for the fries they said they didn’t know we ordered any and tried to charge us for them but according to our receipt we paid for them so yes, yes we did order them and no we will not pay again. I get home, and luckily I live really close because they gave me ranch not honey mustard. So I go back because there’s no reason to force myself to eat something gross when I can get it right. So I make it back home and first bite realize it’s completely not what I ordered. First, the crispy chicken was soggy. Probably because I left it to go back and get the correct sauce. Second, there was bbq sauce in my wrap. Third, there were random caramelized onions in there. No tomatoes. No cheese. Nothing that was supposed to be in there, but a whole lot of what’s not supposed to be in there. I’ve ordered the same wrap for years from every other farmer boys and they’ve never done it like that before so I’m pretty sure that’s just not the recipe and they just don’t know what they’re doing. THEN I need to washout the strange mix of honey mustard caramelized onions and bbq sauce so I take a sip of my drink, just sparkling water. They forgot the syrup in the soda. Awesome. My boyfriend and I actually threw it away and went and got better food somewhere else. It was his first time trying it after I hyped it up and he was unimpressed. This was my second time trying this location. Last time I didn’t get food I just got a milkshake that was basically watered down. Think milk with cookie crumbs in it. Ew. I gave them a chance and I won’t be back. I would however like to get back the $ 20 I threw in the trash. I recommend you take more time training new people with all these store openings. The same thing happened with the other one that just opened in the valley last year and I haven’t been back there either. Save your money. Save your time.

I have seeing all the advertising on TV, so I decided to give this place a try today, I only purchased the farmer boy burger which was pretty pricey, I could have went to in and out a got the #1 combo for cheaper than what I paid for this burger. Now to the review, it was not all that to me, it tasted like the Carl’s Jr big dollar burger, the patty was dry, even with the works on it. The bacon was pretty hard It tasted like it was under the heat lamp to long not freshly made. It’s no In and Out or Fat Burgers. I will say that the lettuce was fresh. I came I tried I don’t like.

First time at this place and all I can say is «meh». The burger my husband got was bland and their veggies on it were wilty and old. Kind of a disappointment since they advertise farm fresh foods. I got the sourdough chicken avocado and was surprised to get a thin sandwich with bread covered in garlic, as this was not described on the menu as garlic sourdough. I guess they need to have all that garlic to make up for their thin piece or flavorless chicken. Not worth the $ 21 spent on the 2 sandwiches.

It pains me to write this review. Since I had eaten at other Farmer Boys locations on road trips about the Southland, I was excited to learn they were opening one very close to my home in the West San Fernando Valley. I was promised their grand opening for months on my commute home. To date I have been a total of 10 times since their opening. I have to say that my experiences at this location have let me down. Out of the 10 times, they have made errors 6 times. 1. Ordered the turkey sandwich without mayo but with avocado, took it home to find it drowned in mayonnaise and sans avocado. The sales slip read what I ordered as ordered, not as received. 2. Ordered the turkey sandwich without mayo and chili fries. This time I dined in and was able to return it, but they brought me instead a turkey sandwich with mayonnaise and a serving of fried zucchini. Sales slip matched my order as ordered. 3. Ordered the barn burger and chili fries, got onion rings instead despite my sales slip. I checked this time and had them send it back although it was takeout. 4. Ordered the chili bread bowl, received chowder, was able to send it back because I checked while still in-store(takeout order again). Again, the sales slip matched what I had ordered. 5. Waited at the counter for 15 minutes unnoticed, despite having made eye contact with wait staff. Asked someone to help and she said someone would be right with me. I ended up leaving. The drive-thru window was very busy at this time so I think this was an anomaly. The wait staff is generally very friendly and helpful. 6. Ordered the barn burger and zucchini sticks, received my food, checked the bag, and went home. Opened the burger to find it had literally nothing on it but cheese(it’s supposed to come with sauce and fried peppers and onions). Sales receipt shows no special mention of «plain» or anything. I understand things being off once in a while. Even my favorite restaurants have presented issues to me, but it’s been rare. For those who think I am excessive in my complaints, I would point out that this should definitely be a rarity. Imagine going to McDonald’s 10 times and ordering the same meal, but to be brought random things from the menu or half-assembled food 6 of those 10 times. It’s not acceptible. What pains me about this are two things: fear of creating a bad work environment for the generally friendly staff and the simple fact that the food is as good as other Farmer Boys locations. Farmer Boys is a fairly decent chain and definitely a cut above other fast food places save In-N-Out(but the In-N-Out example is a bit different as their menu is very limited in comparison). This is certainly a management issue. It could be said to be simply the kitchen’s fault(as is obvious since the sales slips match my verbal order), but there also needs to be communication between wait staff and the kitchen on checking orders. The wait staff is very friendly, as I said, and I have had very pleasant experiences with them, so I hope any action by management will not make it a place they don’t want to work(and then make them gruff or surly). If these issues are addressed I will have to give this place another go. I like the food and would like to see them succeed, but for now, the kitchen and management are pretty bad. Avoid, is my advice – unless you’re dining in and don’t mind sending things back many times.

Thought we’d give this place a shot. I Got a chicken sandwich. Chicken was not seasoned. Just very bland food for what they’re charging. Not sure if i will be going back.

First timer at this location. First timer eating a burger at Farmer Boy too. Menu is big and a bit intimidating. We settled on Big Cheese combos for all. It got very confusing when the cashier started explaining the sides: order one or two of the three. In hindsight it makes sense but in the context of the ordering process it just seems like a nice offer that was difficult to explain. Dining room was very clean and the staff very helpful. Food did not take long to appear at the table. Portions are big(4 huge zucchini spears or onion rings) as a side to the burger. The fries looked a bit limp but I didn’t taste them so that’s just my impression from gazing across the table. Burger was just okay. Not fantastic nor memorable. Lots of vegetable on it but the meat patty was small and thin. It was a flavor lost to that of the vegetables. Mine wasn’t round but shaped somewhat like the profile of the state of West Virginia. It must have been in some sort of battle between the griddle and the bun. When tasted alone, the meat actually tasted well seasoned. But within the context of a burger it was totally lost. Like another reviewer wrote, I found myself gazing wistfully at The Lamplighter, almost wishing I was there rather than here.

Sorry, but this place is just not good. It’s shockingly loud at busy times(nearing painful decibels), and highlights the dregs of humanity. Such as the guy camped out by the drink area coughing on everyone as he waited for his order. The food? Meh. Large portions, but everything is infused with HFCS(syrup, ketchup, etc.). But fine. You’re probably not eating here for health reasons. On to the point. Jack in the Box has better burgers than this place. And that’s not saying much. Pancakes are typically overcooked and not flavored well(hidden beneath a slab of butter). The eggs are basically government powder food with no flavor. The breakfast sausage was good, which is more a testament to how resilient breakfast sausage is from being screwed up as opposed to the menu, food sourcing, or skills of the cooks of this place. Just don’t waste your time. Try it if you like, but this is not a place that should be encouraged to thrive. Also, and this is random, the sinks in the bathroom do not have temperature control and are set to a shockingly high temperature. Helping my 3-year old son wash his hands ended up being letting him lather up before the heat got too high, and then me dousing my hands under the near-scalding water so I could then rinse his hands. Joy. Staff was unhelpful and the woman of questionable focus muttered something about regulation temperatures for health reasons. If only Farmer Boys regulated their idiots. And finally there is a bell by the door to ring on your way out if you enjoyed your food/stay. If anyone is fool enough to ring it, the staff screams some incomprehensible attempt at thanks. Marvelous ambiance. And don’t talk to me about or try to compare this low-brow grunting to the traditional greetings of Sushi houses. However, there is no bell for«you should do better.» They need that bell. Badly. A clarion call ringing out continually for them to remove the suck or close.

Brand spanking new spot for eats… I ate my cheese burger and fries with a view of The Lamplighter. It’s like going to the prom with a girl you found hotter than the one you initially asked and then you spot her at the punch bowl, staring at you like you’re a POS. The guilt was palpable. And for what? A decent burger. I wasn’t even sure if I should tip, because you sort of get served but not really. But I did. Their burgers aren’t going to blow up your skirt. Sorry, it’s just… okay. But I did like the friendly nature of their service at Friday morning, they were peppy and sweet. Excellent service/okay grub.

Savannah was great. She help me out it was my first time. If you don’t want French fries you can get fried zucchini. The The onion rings are big also.

This place is ok… It’s not my preferred lunch spot, but does the job when hangry. (1) It’s not farm to table. The brochure literally says farm to table when available and apparently it’s not available every day. (2) It’s a bit pricey but they do give you ALOT of food. Me and other grown adults have ordered the kids meal more than once. The onion rings and fried zucchinis are ridiculously large (3) Trying to be «on diet» this place is very fattening… ranch dipping is 230 calories for 2 ounces

Got to give it 4 stars. It lost a star because when I went to this place during the grand opening, the food was horrible its was so plain and had no flavor the fries tasted like they were undercooked it was garbage and expensive. But I recently went back because this place had great reviews at other locations so I decided to give them a second chance. But this time the food was amazing the harvest fries were on point, the burger was Delicious, and the cookies and cream shake was dynamite… Lol. Farmers boy you got me in a cycle of mixed emotions what the hell.

I waited a half hour in the drive thru with only 5 cars ahead of me. When I got back to my office with my order they gave me no salad dressing and they poured bacon all over my salad when I specifically asked for no bacon. I was LIVID! I can eat around the bacon but I’m not a rabbit and I am not going to eat my salad with no dressing. I WILLNEVERGOTOTHISLOCATIONEVERAGAIN! ANDPS The fries that we got for the rest of our order were soggy and disgusting!

I anxiously waited and waited for this new burger place to open in our neighborhood. So excited to see the doors open, I immediately went when opened into the drive thru with no idea of the menu or what I really wanted. I finally chose a breakfast burrito to go. Got home, cut it into three for my kid and wife, and we all sat down to try it. Not good. We all looked at each other, took another bite, then threw it out. Had to be a bad day there right? Went back a few days later, ordered a burger, pastrami sandwich, bowl of chili, onion rings for our family… Ate the food… It was just okay… Not worth the wait hype or money… Sorry… I really wanted to like this place but I’ll pass for awhile… Going to give the food a little time to get better before I try it there again. Looking forward to come back. Please don’t let me down again. Thanks

This was my first time ever coming to a farmers boy, I opted for the breakfast burrito with sausage. The cashier Vanessa was the best part of the whole experience she was really knowledgeable about the menu was helpful with any questions ppl asked. The burrito was warm and fresh however i didn’t really enjoy it I have had way better breakfast burrito for way cheaper then the price here. I was kinda upset that they don’t have any kind sauce on the side all they had was Pico de Gallo which is cool if I was eating in but i ordered to go so it kind hard to eat with Pico de Gallo and not spill it every where. Maybe I will come in again for a lunch item but doubtful.

My meal was hot and fresh. The staff are really nice and they really, really make it the way you order it. I often find I’m missing something important but everything was in the bag. The food is served in restaurant style packaging so it’s actually in good condition when you eat it. I ordered lunch at 7am because their whole menu is available till midnight. Heck yeah! I will be going here from now on as I’ve been suffering through the same boring Starbucks/McDonald’s/jack breakfasts and now I don’t have to! You guys rock. See you soon!

First time to a Farmer Boys and I’m not certain I’ll ever go again. Though the staff was friendly and prompt, the food was nothing special. Carl’s Jr. Outdoes this one hands down. The fries were warm, lacking in taste and ridiculously soggy. The cookies and cream milkshake was overpowered with cookies, was there ice cream or anything actually in it? I liked the whipped cream though! The farmers burger– better quality bacon than most drive thru joints, beef was okay, other toppings fine, cheese was fine, the smashed avocado and pickles were a good fresh touch to the burger and there wasn’t enough thousand island. I actually opened it up to see if there was any. The raw onions overpowered the entire burger though. Tried the chili fries as well, super soggy and the chili was slightly greasy. Although I was intrigued by other menu items, I had been told by many friends up North they really like Farmer boys. Maybe because this is a new location they need time to get things right? Not sure. Wasn’t the greatest burger for its price. Next time I’ll be heading to Five Guys, Carls, or In n Out. They do have a nice seating area, inside and out. Well lit drive they and restaurant. The drive thru hours are 6am-12am.

I have been to a couple of farmer boys restaurants and have high expectations that this new location would be just as good as the others that I have been too. I came for the first time last night after getting home from class and went through the drive thru. Upon entering the drive thru I was pleasantly greeted by the drive thru attendant who was super polite, nice and energetic despite it was almost midnight. I very much appreciated how much she enjoyed doing her job and she did a great job too. We placed an order for two orders of The Natural burgers combo. We were the only ones in the drive and our food took about 5 – 7 minutes to be prepared. We did not mind the wait time because we knew our burgers would come out perfect. Which they did! What I enjoy about farmer boys is that they use«the freshest ingredients directly from local farmers and purveyors, whenever possible.» I also enjoy that their burgers are made from 100% USDA pure beef patties. My favorite is The Natural burgers which are fresh, never frozen, hormone-free and antibiotic-free beef. So with that said, yes it may a little longer for your food to be prepared but it is only because this isn’t your typically fast food joint! Trust me it will be worth it!

Sorry but the burger was no different then eatting at burger king or carls. Order the cheese burger with cucumber, the cucumber was good. Meat was dry and the cheese wasnt even melted. Bread was nothing special. Tomato was very thin and not fresh tasting. Overall would not come again. Price is 9.36. Same price as carls or burger king two places i no longer go for a burger. For a restaurant that claims its burger as its farmer quality. I give it a 2 star. Ppl are friendly and helpful but food is the reason i came for.
