The Orkin technician from the Ventura location estimated their pest control service for a price that is four times higher (about $ 3700) than 3 other technicians that came to my home to estimate same job. Their estimation vary from $ 900 to $ 1200.
All estimators from these 3 different pest controls companies measured my attic, and came with same square footage (about 700 — 750 sq. ft), but Orkin technician said that my attic is 1200 sq.ft. Plus he broke the opening to the attic and said that it was like that before he came.
I called the branch manager (it was difficult to find the branch from what the Orkin technician came), but he backed up his technician, said that all others companies will not do the proper job and that Orkin has a great reputation, and nobody would care about my complains on Unilocal.
My advise — if you will need pest service around Ventura county (thousand oaks, simi valley, agoura, westlake village, oak park) never ask ORKIN company to do the job.
There are many reputable companies around, so go with them, not Orkin

Sadly disappointing to have waited from 1 – 5 pm last Friday for a visit to exterminate disgusting bugs in my bedroom, and have no one call or show up.
The 877 area code was the number I called for the appointment.
I called at 4:55 to inquire whether someone was coming and the lady had no way to check. Really? Not only that, she would speak with her manager who would call me back.
I’m still waiting and it is now Monday evening.
I don’t know about their bug expertise but they sure did not deliver for me.

ORKIN is the BEST. We have used them for at least 20 years; in our last 2 houses. No more ants‼Our ORKIN guy is so dependable. We had some pantry bugs not the usual but something else weird and I just happened to mention it and he ran to his truck and brought me sticky traps and it WorkedLove that guy and ORKIN. I am a real customer and I really recommend ORKIN.
