Renee’s Art Studio

Love going to Renee’s art studio. Karen the teacher is amazing. It’s relaxed and fun place to learn art. Very reasonable tuition.

I love Renee’s! Me and my friends have been going here for 4 years and it has always been great! I have done so many paintings and always love how they turn out. All the teachers are great and before I came here I couldn’t paint an now it’s like a 6^th sense to me!

An absolute gem. This is one of those almost impossible to find places where everything is absolutely perfect. Wonderful, knowledgeable, professional teachers who pass their talents to the children. Relaxed, home-​like atmosphere where every child gets personal attention during the class. Unlike many art studio chains where all children required to draw same pictures while going through the per-​determined stages (pastels-​watercolor-​oil) with no sideways allowed at Renee’s children can work on projects that they have selected, using the media of their choice. Teachers are guiding explaining all the rules of working with a particular media, but never pushing.

We have been taking classes at Renee’s for years and love the casual atmosphere and the knowledgeable staff. The prices are the lowest in the Valley. They have great kids and adult classes. Everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend Renee’s for anyone who wants to nurture their creativity and have a fun doing it.

I have been going to Renee’s Art Studio since 2000. I have oil painted about 50 works. It is a great laid back setting. I always enjoyed going to my evening class. No pressure, everyone is just there to paint and chat. Basically, when you can’t pull off the brush stroke you are looking for, Karen the instructor will show you how you can do it. I haven’t been in a couple of months because work has been very busy, but I still have the painting I promised my wife on the wall waiting to be finished up.
They have great kids classes too. All three of my kids have been going there off and on for the last 10 years too.
They will also host special weekend classes with local artists. The artist will show how they perform their techniques, and then you recreate your own version based on their instruction. This is a great way to have fun and walk out with a finish art work in one day.
