3.5 stars. They delivered on what they said they were going to do: * Baby piglets(so cute!!!), baby goat(so adorable!!!), goat, ducks, geese, 2 of the fluffiest chickens I’ve ever seen, alpacas(the softest fur I’ve ever laid my hands on!!!), miniature donkey. * They set up the pen, left someone there, and cleaned up after themselves(you would never know there was a petting zoo on our driveway). * the animals they brought were very calm and got along well with each other. Why the short-changed stars? * For some unknown reason, I expected the pen to be bigger so we could put a bench inside that parents could come in and sit with their kids with. Nope. Only 2 adults or 3 kids can come in at one time. You could pet through the fence though. * I expected, for some reason though it was never mentioned and promised, that animal droppings would be swept into a corner intermittently so as not to discourage people from coming and petting the animals… Which is what we paid for after all. Maybe the fault was mine. I’ve never seen anyone do this at their party and I’ve never done this so I had no idea what to ask. Maybe I should have made more phone calls to ask more questions. But then the few phone calls I’ve made made me feel like I was bothering the lady. If you want to use them for your party, make sure you ask the questions that I’ve missed. Maybe you could even request to have a larger pen, they just might say yes!

This place is kind of creepy and dirty. The prices are pretty good though and you can print a coupon online.

Way too many freakin’ goats. My toddler was horrified and screaming because the goats kept chasing us, so I ended up giving back the food so they would leave us alone. After that it was hard to enjoy the place because my daughter was then basically freaked out about everything, except for the ponies luckily. We did pet a baby chick… Maybe I’ll go back again but without the little one, only her big sis… Yeah, and no one picked up the goat poo…

We were looking for a place to have our daughters birthday party with a cowgirl/farm theme and found this place… BUT I don’t think that this is the right place we are looking for. Upon our arrival the place already looked worn down. Hesitantly we proceeded. The admission was $ 5 pp to enter, $ 5 ea for a pony ride, $ 3 for a large feed for the animals and $ 2 for a small feed. I found the pricing to be misleading. However, if you go to their website there is a BOGO coupon. Beware of buying the feed, when the animals see you with that cup of feed they bombard you and try to take that cup right out of your hand. I was headbutted several times by a mob relentless animals. I ended up throwing all the feed in order to try to fee myself. There was no one there to help you and«regulate» the animals from jumping on you and attacking you. Mind you, the ticket attendants and the pony ride attendants were teenagers! Several bit on our clothing and shoes! Thankfully we got out of there alive, but I discovered that my $ 120 Nike shoes had a hole in in due to the animals snipping at me. Despite the«attack incident», our daughter and nephew and niece had a good time. They enjoyed being close to the animals and they even got to carry baby goats! Super cute. The larger animals were behind fences. They also enjoyed the pony ride. It was my daughters first time to ride a horse and my husband and I were weary that she would freak out(shes 2 btw) but surprisingly she really loved it. My nephew and niece had a blast too. There is no way to avoid stepping on animal droppings, so bring an extra pair of shoes, wipes and lots of hand sanitizer!!! The party area, which consists of a fenced in picnic tables, was off to the side, but still close to all the animals, which I found gross if you were to have food. I didn’t see any bathrooms, other than a port-a potty in the small parking lot, which when we attempted to use it, we immediately ran the other way! It was filthy, there was human feces on the floor and a puddle of urine and a swarm of flys inside the one and only port-a-potty. I would rather contract a UTI than ever go near that thing again. I gave it a 1.5 star because the facility itself was not all that great. But the kids enjoyed themselves anyway.

More like 2.5 stars. The woman and guy who led the pony rides were friendly, as was the cowboy in the parking lot– the woman behind the entry booth wasn’t. My friend said«It’s like a zoo in Beirut. When I drive by i keep wondering how it’s legal.» Website not super informative. Adults $ 5; kids over 1 yr $ 5; over 70 free. The following isn’t on the sign: –Feedcup for all animals except ponies– $ 2 large, $ 1 small –Pony rides $ 3 Parking on side streets or small lot. Bring a spare set of shoes and a plastic bag for the ones you wear in. There are often roosters or chickens scratching in the parking lot. Look carefully in the shed you walk through to get to the ticket booth– I saw a duck and five eggs on the way out that I had missed on the way in. On the shelf behind the ticket booth line there was a cage with yellow chicks. Features: potbellied pigs, goats(with babies), a cow, horses, burros, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkey, peacock, geese. Fenced off picnic tables for lunch. A tractor to climb on. Various benches and tables and logs to sit on. Minuses: Unlike the LA zoo petting zoo, poop is not cleaned up much. Goats with poop in their hooves are jumping on the benches and tables outside the fenced area. Pony rides: I guess there’s fast and slow. My 1 yr old cried during the first of the slow circuits, so I took her off. There’s a back support for the little kids. I’ve heard the Sylmar Wilderness Center is much better so I’ll check it out soon. I saw two goats with overgrown hoofs so they couldn’t walk…

There is parking either in the small lot or on the side streets. They have so many animals to look at, goats, ponies, baby pigs, more goats, donkeys, emus, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys. Many of these animals are wandering around the grounds, some are penned. There are pony rides for the kids. Rates are $ 5 per person to get in, and $ 3 – 4 per pony ride.(Ride goes either at a slow trot or a walk, all ponies are led by a human, not simply sent off in a circle on their own.) Staff is friendly. Bring CASH, no credit cards accepted here.

Awesome place to bring the kiddies, or see farm animals if youre not use to that sort of thing. watch out for the goats they seem to try and eat my t shirt every time i go. fun horse rides for the kids, slow and fast. ETA: if you have sensitive kiddies, might not want to come — i saw a restaurant truck come to buy 2 goats and they dragged them out into the truck waiting in the parking lot. the whole time the goats were yelling, and it actually sounded like«heeeeeeeeelp»

The Farm Reseda is local favorite. I don’t know why nobody has even reviewed it yet. It is a petting zoo/pony ride utopia in the middle of the valley. There are hundreds of friendly animals here that are more than happy to come up and say hello. It is very inexpensive, I think it is like $ 3 dollars a person, and you can buy feed for $ 2 for a large cup. For a small fee the kids can get a great pony/horsey ride forr a couple minutes of joy. The place is family owned and operated and the staff is friendly. I attached a video so you can see for yourself how awesome this place is. And on the seventh day god said: «Go forth and pet the goats and piggies, and he did, and yay it was good»
