The parking was a little tight in this shopping center… But it was worth the trip. The service was very good, from the lady who took my order to the busboy to the one taking my payment. The rating area is longer than I thought with large half round seating areas on one and regular tables on the fish tank side. The egg flower soup was a little hot and a little spicy for my taste. The wonton strips were a little soggy and oily, but okay. The diet soda came in a large 20 oz. plastic bottle with a glass of ice. Nice. I didn’t have to ask for refills. The fried rice looked good but was pretty bland. The egg roll was okay… Couldn’t tell wha was in the middle of it though. The imperial shrimp was cooked nicely, with snow peas and broccoli. But it only had six pieces of shrimp. Overall it was a nice place and I would go back again.

Best crispy duck in the Valley. Other dishes are good too but the duck is our go to. Order it extra crispy.

First time visiting here. The servers were nice and polite. I ordered one of their luncheon specials, mushu pork with hot and sour soup and fried rice. The hot and sour was a bit spicy, which tasted like coming from black peppers. The fried rice was kind of dry. My food was mediocre, but I wouldn’t return.

The price is pretty reasonable. As long as u order the right dishes, it is a pretty good restaurant. Do not order lemon chicken and organge chicken plz. As a chinese from China, I really do not get that why people love OC So much=.= I recommend Hunan beef, and kungbao chicken. The wonton soup is not that good. Anyway, it is a ok place to go. Cozy environment tho.

Ordered take out on a lazy Sunday and it was ready in 20 mins. Place seemed pretty busy with take out orders. Wonton soup and egg rolls were surprisingly good. Pork lo mein was ok and kung pao chicken was meh. I’d probably go back…

Silver Panda is a local gem! We have been going there for at least 20 years! Here are my recommendations of things to try: Paper wrapped chicken Three flavored sizzling rice soup Egg drop soup Orange pork And everything else on the menu! Don’t forget to ask for the tea, its very good! It’s really a great place with great prices! Highly recommend!

Delicious food. Although, they did take 1:15 min to deliver when I was told it was only going to take 45 min. Afterwards, I was rudely yelled at over the phone for not leaving a tip. I loved coming here but customer service should be extremely important, something they do not take seriously, specially when it’s a restaurant.

I am beyond obsessed with Silver panda. Their food is delicious. The owners are so sweet and very welcoming. Their service is fast but the quality of food is great. I go there at least once a week if not twice lol

The Service here is good they are constantly asking if you need anything, very attentive. The food is extremely good if your a big Chinese food fan, this is the place to go! Only reason I can say for taking it from a 5 star to a 3 star is that, the place never changed the seats are extremely old(seats from I want to say the 80s) the carpet is cold and nasty looking. The walls look like they are about to collapse. The other problem is that the food is very over priced. Other than that it is great !

One of the only good Chinese restaurants in the valley. Good food, great prices and incredible service! Seriously though, their service is AMAZING! I haven’t been here in years since I moved out of the area, but I’m really glad I came back. I just finished dinner and wanted to make sure to write a review before I left and forgot to do it. Dinner for two after tax was only $ 23, you really can’t beat that!

Only 3.5 stars for this hidden gem? C’mon Unilocalers. Not only the best Chinese food in the valley, but stands up nicely against other competition. The basics, delicious traditional and authentic food, and the service is warm and friendly; think more of eating in your grandmother’s kitchen. The basics: Food, excellent, everything hits that Chinese spot. Highly recommend the Wor Wonton Soup(a must!) and the PuPu Platter(mixed appetizers). Definitely treat yourself, and affordable too! Service, great if you are looking for the friendly, family atmosphere. Attentive staff is like having grandma whisk away a plate as you finish. The food comes out on time, well presented, with a story behind some of the menu items(just ask).

I have been here twice for during the week for take out only. Both times, I was in the area and decided to go in and place my order while I go next door to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. They are always welcoming. The older lady at the front was very helpful recommending what dishes to get. The Wonton Soup is pretty good here. I am very picky with the sodium and the soup here is just right. Other dishes that I’ve tried are mixed veggies, sweet and sour pork, cashew chicken, and assorted lo mein which has chicken, beef, shirmp(soft noodles). It comes with steamed rice. Since the dishes has sauce in it, I don’t add additional soy or plum sauces. It’s perfect the way it is. Good job!

The orange chicken is really good! So is the volcano shrimp! A little pricy though.

Worst service ever !! The lady at the front does not know how to explain dishes and she yelled at some customers because they ordered what she had requested. Extremely rude and unprofessional! The dishes are not as described and when asked, described differently as well. Yelled at us and made us feel horrible for asking her to fix our order she had messed up on in front of customers. We left without eating the food. Felt so embarrassed by others looking at us. Never again! DONOTGOHERE!

Very yummy! Went In for lunch, ordered the beef and broccoli combo off of the lunch special. Ordered a side of cream cheese wontons! Best ones I’ve had! So creamy and delicious! Portion side is perfect! Prices are affordable! Service was awesome, they were so nice and friendly. You get a cozy warm feeling when u walk in. Atleast I did. My boyfriend and I have been trying to find a family style old traditional Chinese place and I think I may have found a spot, thanks to my in laws who discovered this small place back when they were living and going to school near by. Woohoo! I’m not from the area but I’ll be back, bringing my boyfriend so he can enjoy it. See u soon Silver Panda!

Good Asian food is definitely lacking in the valley and Silver Panda is no exception. Their phone was ringing off the hook when I came to pick up my order, which i hoped was a good sign. I decided to order something pretty safe so I could get a good gauge and went with house chow mein and orange chicken. I was shocked when I got home and realized the chow mein noodles weren’t even noodles, but some kind of wonton chip thing. It was also like 90% bean sprouts which I despise and not worth $ 11! The orange chicken was fine, if a bit sweet. But they didn’t even give me chopsticks with my take out order! So why the two stars? As many other reviewers have mentioned, the people at Silver Panda are really nice. I also think their regular menu is overpriced, but they do seem to have some decent lunch specials. I don’t think there are a lot of Chinese options in the area, outside of Panda Express, which is probably why they’re doing so well. So in summary, maybe lunch, but definitely not dinner.
