One of the part-​time librarians sits at the front desk and NEVER STOPS TALKING/​GOSSIPING REALLY REALLY LOUD. She must have missed that bit during orientation when they mentioned that libraries are supposed to be QUIET. Otherwise, it’s a nice place and a valuable community resource.
