I have been smoking Cigars for about 20 years and part of that experience and satisfaction is visiting local tobacconists as I travel from time to time. Speaking with other cigar lovers and owners of these fine establishments adds to the overall enjoyment of Cigars. As I explored the Humidor at Burns, I was extremely impressed with the selection as well as price. Not only do they have a great selection, they also have one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. They make you feel like you’re at home here. If I was a local, I would be here all the time. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won’t be sorry. Tell Mike Wolfgang said Hi!!!

Thank you, David. You made a couple of wayward travelers feel at home. The remodel on the humidor has made a tremendous difference and improvement. The cigar selection is first class. But, the best part of the evening was being invited up to Room 101. We played pool, listened to music and were waited on like royalty. A wonderful evening!

wonderful and friendly place. tons of cigars to choose from and all kept in quality condition. staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. they didnt just go to the most expensive stick but truly liked what they had me try. they even threw in a sample of pipe tobacco and a tamper with my purchase! if you like cigars, you definitely will not be disappointed with this place.

I gotta say this is one of my favorites stops. From the massive selection of quality cigars and boutique cigars. The burns crew gets it done right. There well stocked humidors with the newest and readily available cigars. Enjoyed my conversations with the well educated staff. This is a go to place I highly recommend it.

In September of 2013 I was travelling with friends in the Chattanooga area and was looking for a tobacconist in the area as I was running out of my travelling stock. The one Unilocal review of this location was very poor, but the pictures of this place on their website told me a different story. A large wood paneled room, with what looked like a huge walk-in humidor. Nice We decided to drive over and give it a look. We weren’t disappointed. Burns has two very large walk-in humidors, one in the right corner of the room and another in the left. The selection of cigars does not disappoint with row up on row of top brand cigars. Ashton, Fuente, La Flor Dominicana, Tatuaje, just about anything Pepin Garcia ever made, Camacho, and on and on, oh and he’s a Davidoff White Label dealer as well. All of my favorites were here and then some, including some very hard to find and rare Davidoff products, all at very reasonable prices. There is a large round table just opposite the register for seating as well as some vintage barber chairs off to one side. We met a number of the locals and had some interesting and colorful conversations as we stayed for some hours to enjoy a couple of cigars and some scotch from the bar next door. Burns and their patrons were welcoming and fun to hang around with. Oh, did I mention that since they are attached, you can get a drink at the absurdly well stocked and beautiful bar and billiards room next door, and enjoy a cigar all at the same time. Try this back East. I dare you. Won’t happen I have been in cigar shops from New York City to San Francisco and Burns blew me away with their selection, quality and prices. A note to the wise, cigar shops are not typically the place to pick up cigarettes as most people get theirs from bodegas or gas stations. They will have some, but the prices will be high due to the low demand for them at these types of locations, especially if you are looking for a rare or specialty brand. I have noted their prices as moderate. I shop for cigars mostly within the North East. With our absurdly high taxes, Burns was a bargain. Your mileage may very if you are a local.

I am a casual smoker. I smoke on vacation or after a special evening. I do not smoke everyday. Thus, I like my tobacco to be top notch. Specially if it’s bad for your health. I would rather smoke a natural tobacco than that one filled with fillers and chemicals. My brand of choice is Nat Sherman. I like their«naturals» selection. I looked to find these at my local tobacconist, but demographically where I live, there is not a demand for them. I called around. Finally, I was told that this place would have them. It was a 20 minute drive from my home. The building is connected to the billiards club. It was about 1 o’ clock in the afternoon. I parked my vehicle in an almost filled lot. When I walked into the shop there was one man sitting down by the door. I think he was the I. D checker. Two other’s behind him sitting behind the registrar. They were all focused on the TV that was above the humidor. Classy. I knew instantly I was stuck with the only choice, I had. The store looked worse then that of a frat house at your local community college. It was all over the place. No organization. Posters on the walls depicting failed actor’s smoking cigars. Sports paraphernalia and a lounge area where there were news papers all over the floor. There was no «hello, welcome or may I help you with anything» from anyone. Quite the opposite. All four men supposedly working, were all fixated on the television. It was as if they were all statues with a stone look to their faces. Finally, I spotted my brand of choice. I asked the attendant for a pack. The clerk an older gentleman grabbed the pack and called out the price. I could not believe it! The price Ten dollars and fifty cents! Nope. No joke. Either these guys had a bet on how much they could charge the first person to walk into their cluttered store or they are the biggest rip off tobacconist store in this town. I later called around and found that you can buy the same pack at another tobacconist shop located downtown. I checked with them and they have them for Five dollars and sixty-five cents. I felt like I had been had. Burn’s. Then name says it all. They will burn you and your wallet! I will not go back nor recommend this place to anyone. I felt ripped off, but most importantly I felt that this place just does not care about their establishment enough to be a professional tobacconist.
