I came here this year for the 2015 Hamilton County Fair. I’m really glad I went as I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t like is having to ride a bus to get there. I thought I could get in my truck and drive and find a parking place close by. However, that proved to be a mistake. So, I parked at Northgate Mall and caught a yellow school bus to go to the fair. Some of the foods I got were banana pudding on a stick, BBQ Nachos with cheese, roasted corn, and sweet tea. I have never seen banana pudding on a stick any where. This is why I like to go to fall fairs and festivals such as this one. It turned out to be pretty good. It looked like a hot dog but was softer with powdered sugar sprinkled on it. The BBQ Nachos were delicious as they filled me up. It was made with macho chips on the bottom. Then, BBQ pork placed on top of it. All with melted cheese on top of it. I also got roasted corn on the cob for only $ 2. It was worth more than that. It was so good. They fix it right in front of you after ordering. It only took about one minute in the cooker grill. I put seasoned salt on it which made it taste so good. Some other foods I saw were; ribbon fries, chicken on a stick, funnel cakes, chocolate covered strawberries, ribeye steak sandwich, chicken tenders, jumbo hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, BBQ sandwiches, pork skins, kettle corn, and home made honey that you can buy in jars to take home. Features and activities: They had many stages for music. They had a tractor show, car show, horse show, petting zoo for kids, livestock shelter, horse and dog arenas, picnic area, arts and craft vendors, and a children’s play section.

Great place for camping but be aware of the bad raccoon infestation. It needs to be called Chester Raccoon Park its that bad.
