I’ve had good barbecue in Missouri, Kansas, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and Texas just to name a few states. Each state has its only specialty and preference i.e. Texans love brisket. After trying the pulled pork at Choo Choo I immediately recognized the taste of a perfectly cooked pulled pork and a delicious hot sauce to go along with it. Im very particular about my barbecue and wish a Choo Choo BBQ would open in Nashville so I could eat the BBQ fries every day. Be sure to stop in and grab a drive through sandwich if you don’t have the time to sit down and eat.

I’ve been eating here for over a year now and it’s easy to get one good meal out of a place but this little drive up bbq joint is surprisingly consistent in quality and service. They are always friendly and the food is excellent. I love the half potato with pork and side salad. They also have crinkle fries which are my favorite type of fries. The sandwiches are great too. If bbq is on your mind, this is the place to go!

This bbq will stand up to any. I have had bbq all around the country and this is the place I would always go back to. Best ribs, best sauce. If you like bbq, drive across town to try it. Don’t expect frills. Pick up window only and no BR. Sadly I found out about this place from out of town reviews. I live 5 minutes from it.

When we went here we hoped for inside dining, but alas no. It’s a small place with outside seating. However, the barbecue was excellent; lean and flavorful. Purely casual, but if you want a quick meal and are willing to drive about 10 minutes off I-​75 outside of Chattanooga, you won’t be disappointed. Fairly priced as well. It’s near a busy street so it’s a loud. Going back when we’re in the area.

Delicious! So happy we stopped here on our road trip through Chattanooga. All the positive reviews on Unilocal wont lead yoy astray. I got the combo platter (ribs, pulled pork and pulled chicken) with 2 sides and it was delectable. The meat falls right off of the rib bones and the bbq sauce was sweet and tangy and tasted all the way good. Highly recommend the corn nuggets and cole slaw as sides. Very friendly and prompt customer service in addition to the appetizing food. A must see if you pass through Chattanooga for sure!

If you are driving through Chattanooga, it’s worth driving 1.3 miles off the interstate for some very good BBQ. Drive thru joint. No frills picnic table dining. BBQ sauce is tangy with a touch of sweetness. Can’t go wrong with a pulled pork sandwich, with a layer of coleslaw on the top. Delicious!

I just had dinner from Choo-​Choo and it’s always some of the best pulled pork around. You can tell it’s been cooked right, only real barbecue has that wonderful char and smokey flavor. Their sauce is on point as well. Great barbecue for great prices, gotta love Choo-​Choo!

Really good BBQ. Stopped on our way back to Michigan. Pulled pork sandwich was great, so were the ribs. Absolutely no frills– literally a walk up window with picnic tables. They don’t even have bathrooms.

Choo Choo BBQ is by far my favorite place for barbeque here in Chattanooga. I love how tender the pork is, and the sauce is just the right combination of sweet and smoky flavors. I like to get the family platter and bake the potatoes at home, topping them with the BBQ goodness from Choo Choo. You can’t beat the amount of quality food you get for the price!

This place is beyond amazing! I absolutely love the food. This is my second time coming to Choo Choo and I got the BBQ pork plater. It had just enough sauce, portion size was perfect, and the price was so affordable! I would recommend this place to anybody.

This place has good southern BBQ. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich with cole slaw which was only $ 4.50 and it was really good. Another thing I like is the price is very reasonable. We will definitely come back here again!

I eat a lot of BBQ. After trying 4 – 5 BBQ places in the area I decided to check out this place. I tried the pulled chicken, loaded potatoes with pulled pork, and the ribs. The meat was perfectly cooked. The loaded potatoes were unbelievably good. There aren’t better ribs in the Chattanooga area. The BBQ sauce was fantastic. And great service.

The loaded any of the loaded potatoes are great. The loaded chicken potato is amazing. The onion rings are thick and solid. Not too heavy. The bbq sauce is perfect.

Very good food… Mouth watering, cooked to perfection southern food! I recommend the pork hot dog! OMG! So delicious! It comes with slaw on top, so if you’re like me and don’t like slaw, be sure and ask em to not put it on there :)

Stopped in and grabbed a family pulled pork meal. Meat, buns, sauce and three sides for about $ 17.00. I was very impressed! The meat was smoky and delicious and the hot sauce was good and spicy but what set the meal off were the baked beans and the fried okra! Definite must haves. My wife and daughter loved the meal as much as I did. I will be going back for sure!
