Highly disappointed there was dog poop hanging from our apartment 8B6 which we paid extra to have a «view» there was green mold growing outside of it found about 9 huge bugs in our apartment in 6 months and we never kept food just laying around also had a flea problem and didn’t even have animals… It was not kept up dog poop all over the sidewalks and was just a very bad experience. Pictures aren’t what it actually looks like BEWARE

We loved our time here(2014 — 2015)! Overall the property and its amenities are truly excellent, and it was always a pleasure to interact with the office staff. The buildings are a little on the older side, but that’s reflected in the reasonable pricing. It’s great having a porch/sunroom for every unit… usually I’ve only seen that with expensive new loft complexes. All the communal amenities are brand new and fancy. A couple small frustrations, that I wish I would’ve known about ahead of time to be prepared:(1) packages are tricky to deal with(no notification when a package arrives for you, so it’s a problem if someone sends you a surprise gift, or if you forgot something was coming);(2) be prepared to work for your security deposit(no follow-up from them after our move-out… it took three months of proactive outreach to finally be refunded — though they were nice about it the whole time!); and(3) the parking lot can be a bit of a zoo(our car got dented when someone’s motorcycle was stolen by a joyrider). Also keep an eye on your autopay if you set that up. Like a dolt, I forgot that it wouldn’t auto-renew when we signed our new lease, so we ended up having to pay late fees. That was totally my fault, but the scary part was that nobody from the office ever notified me… the only reason we found out about our delinquent status was because we gave our move-out notice. If that coincidence hadn’t occurred, I don’t know what would’ve happened to us. Eek. But all of these issues can be averted if you’re just aware and proactive — not a big deal. It mainly caught me off-guard because the place where we had lived before was hyper-communicative. Any complex is going to have pros and cons. And here the pros far outweighed the cons. We were huge fans of the fair rent prices, flexible lease lengths, friendly staff, beautiful pool, and wooded setting. The repair staff was always very responsive, and we never had any issues with noise/neighbors. Even though you have to drive everywhere, you are VERY close to downtown and the interstate, so you feel quite connected. We lived there during our house-hunting process, and we only moved out because we ended up finding a home. If we were still hunting, we’d still be there! This place is definitely worth checking out if you are interested in renting in Chattanooga.
