My daughter really wanted to do this after seeing a flyer for it at the hotel. We happened to walk by it seeking food, so we stopped in. She was adamant that she wanted to do it, so we inquired. It’s $ 40 – 45 per ornament. Not too bad, with the expectation that you actually get to make the ornament, but you don’t! In fact, you WATCH as they mix the glass colors for you. Then you get to sit in front of a very hot fire, for all of ten seconds while the glass melts, then THEY do all the rolling, shaping, etc. You get to come back in for a whopping 30 seconds to blow it up, but they, again, push you out of the way to finish it up. $ 45 for a full 40 seconds of activity is NOT my idea of fun or good value. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool ornament, but I could have purchased it for $ 20 in any specialty boutique. Not worth the cost.

Awesome watching this glass making tandem in action. Some of the most beautiful pieces in their store and very friendly staff and workers!

Great experience. Two girlfriends and I went and each made an ornament. They help you along the way. Actually they do most of the work but you do blow into the glass yourself. You also twist the glass while it’s in an oven. It is definitely warm from the ovens. They have different colors you can choose from and different textures. Definitely plan to do it again. They will mail the finished product if needed. You need to pick up your ornament the next day. It needs to cool.
