I just got a cut, color, and highlights from Dennis. I could not be happier. He is clearly someone who knows what he is doing, listens to his client, and is funny to boot! I am so happy to have found a stylist.

I went here after a recommendation from a friend after dealing with problem after problem at other salons getting my dark hair to accept blond without looking splotchy. Mindy was able to correct my color problems and gave me a great cut. A week later my hair is still in better shape than it’s been in quite some time. Kudos for a great job! After 5 years of searching I’ve finally found my salon. I highly recommend this salon.

I have been visiting Kaleidoscope Salon for services since it opened a couple of years ago even though I live near Cleveland — and it is almost 60 miles round trip for me. I find it is worth it. I am a middle-​aged business woman who is very busy and is willing to drive the extra distance and pay for receiving premium services. I have tried other comparable «upscale» establishments in the Chattanooga area and was just not impressed. Premium prices do not insure premium services, I have found, and many stylists are unable to respond to specific requests. I appreciate the skilled consistency of the gentleman stylist/​colorist that works with me there and the friendly atmosphere and professionalism of the whole staff. I have my hair trimmed up and a custom color applied with highlights, when I go there. It is the BEST salon I have ever visited and while I do not have time to write reviews on the internet — I felt impelled to do so as they are particularly outstanding. Beautiful place, in a more upscale setting and well worth the price.

I am in visiting from Northern California and was in need of a trim… my appt. was with Danny and I was so impressed with his professional style. As well as going the extra mile to understand what I wanted going on-​line to look at photos. I left with my heart singing… go see him. Tell him «Charlie sent you» ;)

The salon is in a great North Shore location and is clean which is great. The waiting area could be improved but that isn’t why I gave it one star. I went to the salon on a referral from a friend who had recently chopped her long hair into a pixie cut. I figured if she trusted them to chop off her beautiful locks I could go as well! I definitely think they cater to short hair though. I said I wanted long layers, didn’t like my hair thinned and a trim. They cut off inches, thinned my hair to the point my thick hair was hard to put up and gave me layers starting above my chin! Basically everything I said I did not want he did. Frustrating, had to wait and grow it all back out and get it fixed else where.
If you have long hair, go some place else!
