I live here in Chattanooga, Tn and Moon Pies are made here at Chattanooga Bakeries. I remember the days of «A Moon Pie and a R C Cola»…Yes, Moon Pies are still good and I have Moon Pies here at the house now… I usually eat a few every week… a nice little cheap dessert to have at home… Try heating in a Micro Wave for 30 seconds and adding ice to the top of a Moon Pie… Yum Good !!!

Sometimes you just want an old fashioned Moonpie! Until yesterday, I hadn’t had one in about 2 years. I almost forgot about them until I attended a birthday party. I saw a toddler chowing down on her own Moonpie snack and the memories just came back to me: a Moonpie in one hand, a glass of milk in the other… the perfect, cheap snack any day. The best thing is they’re surprisingly filling! I justify my guilt by telling myself that at least it’s lower in fat since it’s filled with marshmallow… who am I kidding?
