Rodeway Inn

Blood stains on the couch, blood splatter on the floor and bathroom door. Hotel wouldn’t switch our room (because we’d booked as part of a group), so they sent someone up with some bleach instead. Other kinds of stains on the sheets (which they replaced). Baseboard in the hall has been ripped up in several places; can see in to the wall, including water damage and evidence of pests. Spotted a couple of ants in the room. Smoke detector and door latch lock have been removed from room. Can see into room from the hallway through the peep hole. Room includes microwave and mini-​fridge, but temperature control in fridge has been removed. Window is perpetually fogged up from AC unit. Key cards do not open back door to hotel. Entry to the parking lot from the street is difficult because it sits on a one-​way street (alternate entrance has been closed off); coming at it from the wrong side means having to get on the highway to get turned around and re-​situated.
UPDATE: Tried the breakfast. No jam served with toast. Witnessed someone from staff making the «eggs.» Pouring yellow liquid from a bag into a heating tray. She apologized, saying «I’m sorry, you weren’t supposed to see that.»
