Trantham’s Service Center & Wrecker Service

Wow, this place seems great! I had to get my car towed and they were quick and friendly. The guy knew what was wrong with my car before I even finished telling him how it was acting! The price for the repair was fair, and I like that there is a woman at the front desk. (Being a woman can be intimidating when you go to a mechanic and have no clue about cars! So, just having a woman there was comforting to me.) But also, the mechanic told me everything he did, and I had asked him to check a certain part which he said was fine. (He could have just replaced it and charged me, but he didn’t, which shows honesty in my opinion). I’ve lived near here for a while and have usually just taken my car elsewhere because other family did, but every time I drive by Trantham’s they have a ton of cars in the lot, so, I assume they are good. I used them this time because I needed the tow, but I think I’ve found myself a new regular mechanic! I’m really impressed so far!

I think this may be on of the last remaining honest mechanics in Chattanooga area. Mr Trantham will not diagnose something that is not the problem, and the do good work for a fair price. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
