Good cheap breakfast café. This is the kind of place where people start conversations with strangers and make them feel at home.
We flipped a coin between the places that were open on Sunday morning then ignored it because Katy’s looked, in my wife’s words, cute on the outside. We were not disappointed.
The biscuits were light and fluffy, the sausage gravy had lots of sausage but needed pepper for my taste. The coffee and hot chocolate were actually streaming hot and perfect on a cold morning.

Pleasantly surprised… Very nice waitress, cozy and clean restaurant, with decently good food! We just picked this place randomly along our road trip back to Chicago from Texas. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good local breakfast place!
