Had their navy bean soup and a BLT here at a busy lunch hour mid week. The navy bean soup was delicious and I wish I would’ve gotten more! The BLT had lots of bread and very little bacon. It was okay but nothing to write home about. My girlfriend had a ham sandwich on marbled rye and she said it was good. The potato salad was good but you could tell it wasn’t homemade. They put nice crisp pickle slices on your plate and they are good. Service was great and I guess they cater and deliver. For a deli, it was alright and I’ll probably try it again but next time, I’ll get more soup! My girlfriend had the taco soup and she says it’s her favorite. You also get that tiny little bag of Lays chips too with your sandwich… you know the ones that have exactly three chips in it? Still, good in a pinch.

This sandwich shop in downtown Chehalis is a decent, if not pedestrian, lunch stop. I stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday as it is one of the few local joints open on the weekends for lunch(what is up with that). I got an italian sandwich, a «whole» one, which is actually more like two whole hoagie sandwiches. Value wise, some people might think this is a good deal but the hoagies are almost all bread, and the bread is a pretty average store bought kind. Actually most of the toppings on them, seem like they came out of bags instead of freshly sliced. Definitely had that cafeteria quality. Service was very nice and all the ladies working there were smiling and I got my food pretty quick as well. I really wanted to love this place as there isn’t many options for a good sub in the area without traveling to Olympia but the search continues.

Year after year this place NEVER dissapoints. You will spend more than subway lol but your food is so fresh and so yummy. The Bearcat is bomb! We also have them deliver to our staff meetings sometimes and that is an excellent option for this area. Great portions everyone is always happy with their service and quality!

Great food every time. I love the deli Italian! Its probably the best sandwich places in town for stuff like that. I like the fact that they offer sprouts as an option. Gotta try it if in the area!

This place has some real good Blackberry Pie! The service is good, the staff friendly, it’s fairly quiet, suitable for an evening out with a date or the wife. Check out the ‘stuff” on the walls it’s like a mini, but slightly quirky museum! ** UPDATE4/6/2014** The place appears to be out of business. I’ve driven past it a few times in the last couple of months and it’s always closed.

Friendly, great service, and super tasty food. The Bearcat is the best but you can’t go wrong with any of the salads or sandwiches.

Bearcat, Bearcat, Bearcat. Did I mention to get the Bearcat? Taco soup is really good too. A little pricy, but worth it. Only a buck or so more than say, your corner Subway, but much tastier.

An adequate small town deli. It’s not great by any stretch, and the meats and cheeses can all more than likely be found at your local grocery store. There is nothing unique or special about this deli or it’s menu to warrant 3 stars or up, but the food is palatable, reasonably priced and I’ve never left hungry and will eat there again. For those looking for a high quality deli, this is not one of them.

Chehalis Deli has always been there for me! I remember going there for lunch when I lived and worked in that area. The«Bearcat» is my favorite sandwich ever and I was so delighted to have it once again. It has been a long stint without it because I was a vegetarian for 7 years. They are pretty fast in terms of service and very friendly. The meat they use there is really good quality. There is no better place to get a sandwich in that area. The only thing they could improve upon is the bread. It doesn’t hold up well to oil or vinegar. I was going to post a picture of the sandwich but it had been too long since I’ve last eaten one and I couldn’t bring myself to wait any longer.

This place does brisk lunch business. At first, I was a little put off by the bread they use but the sandwhich was good. I greatly prefer the Bearcat and Bobcat.
